The staff were outstanding, especially Gonzalo!!The breakfast is wonderful! Our room on the top floor was a bit cramped, and bed was uncomfortable, but the view was great and the service and staff made up for it. Just make sure you book a large room.

Hotel has a very clean environment and has ample parking. Breakfast options could be improved a little but was still great. Staff was super friendly at check and check out. Restaurant staff was very polite and smiling. The room offered spectacular views of the castle in the day and at night. Will definitely come back some day.

This was a truly wonderful hotel. Large well appointed room with a balcony and stunning Mountain View’s. The restaurant staff at breakfast and in the evening were truly exceptional. We were so sad to leave. The hotel is superbly located for visits to the Ludwig II castles. But don’t ignore Fussen, it is a lovely town with bars and restaurants as well as two lakes, a castle and museum. Finally, easy parking at the hotel with two electric charging points. We will be going back for sure.

The property is very nice, check in was very quick, elevator only goes to 2nd floor (too bad for guests on 3rd floor), on site restaurant was closed on Sat night (so had to go out for dinner), breakfast was excellent, staff was very nice and spoke very good English.

The hotel was a hidden gem. I received the best service at check-in and at the restaurant and from the cleaning staff. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Plus you get a Fussen card which allows you to take the bus for free all over the little city.

It was very pleasant to stay at Hotel Filser and I would be happy to stay there again. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was quiet and had everything I needed. If I may suggest one thing, it would be to improve the lighting in the room, especially in the bathroom which felt a bit dark for my liking. The highlight was the restaurant and the food. I was truly happy with my meals! The breakfast spread was fantastic as well. I would highly recommend staying here!

Exactly what we were hoping for

Awesome place to stay! Everyone was very friendly and hospitality was excellent. Just a short walk to the city center for dinner and shopping. Picturesque views of everything you have come to Fussen to see. I would totally recommend this to anyone

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I requested a kettle, and when the first didn't work, they happily loaned me another. The sauna was wonderful after a cold rainy day in the mountains, and helped ease sore muscles. The breakfast was very good! Everything tasted delicious, and was presented well. There were many staff members that helped me in different ways, and all so polite and kind. I thought the room and bathroom were nice! It was quiet, relaxing, comfortable, and a very pleasant stay. I'd love to return some day.
