Pretty cool place to stay a night - unlimited drinks, and plenty to do in the shared lounge space. Has a hostel feel. My kids woke up early, so they occupied themselves with drinks and video games in the lounge. The room and shared showers were clean. Nice foot onsen with a great view of mt fuji.

There are three buildings. Pros: free drink bar, amazing rooftop view of Mt. Fuji, toiletries and Yukata attire provided. North and Central building looks renovated. There are 2 private shower room in 2nd floor of central building for those who does not want to go in public bath. There is elevator in central building. Cons: South building, Room 251 (Tatami Japanese Family room for 3 pax) Nov 22: CAD$250 (pricey) Nov 23: $140ish not sure why first day is much expensive for the same room. Showers are a little moldy. South building no elevators, smells and no ladies shower

This is an amazingly good value hotel, situated at the very foot of Mount Fuji - clean, comfortable and well run. The rooftop terrace and foot spar are a very welcome addition after a long day. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Highly recommended.

Staff were lovely, room was standard and clean (with little cranes on the futons! Cute!) there were more amenities than I expected, and a homey feel that I really appreciated. I had the bath all to myself in the evening, I went around 19.00, and the next morning I had the rooftop all to myself to see Fuji! Lovely little place to go on holiday.

My friend and I stayed for 1-night and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean and quiet with a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. The footbath on the roof was lovely. We enjoyed the complimentary snacks and beverages. We wish the room had a reading light in addition to the overhead lighting.

Nice and clean hotel

Clean and cmfortable rooms, bathroom and showers close by. Mats were thick enough to be comfortable, while still giving an authentic Japanese experience. Not much in the immediate area, but great park and restaurants were a 15 to 30 minute walk. Desk person seemed a bit brisk, but not rude.

Well travelled persons review

I would highly recommend this location to any one coming to the Mt Fuji area. Checking in was a breeze. On the roof is a footpath that easy seats 10 and has an awesome view of Mt Fuji! The roof is open 24 hrs. The reception area is open 24 hrs and has free unlimited drinks including happy hour 3:30pm till 10:30pm. It was great to be able to get tea or soft drinks around the clock s d not have to leave or spend a fortune. I would definitely stay here again!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not like that people would use the shower then exit but leave the lights on and the door closed. I waited to shower for one hour before realizing nobody was in there. Maybe have a sign that indicates to keep the door open to ventilate after showering and to also show that the shower is unoccupied.

It’s a lovely traditional inn, though quite out of the way. We only stayed one night, but had some difficulty getting a taxi to take us to the station since they don’t usually drive down that street, and there were no Ubers that serviced the area. Other than that, it was an interesting experience— the rooms were very cute with traditional mats and futons. The shared toilets and showers were clean, though a bit old, and the view from the roof was nice. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for tourism/sightseeing since it’s so far from everything, but it was a comfortable and interesting stay for us to end our trip with.
