Excellent. We got a big room. 4 futon and 2 bed for 4 of us to choose. I enjoy the bed while my fam used the futon. 2 toilets and 1 bath room. Amazing. Location is good, walkable to shopping areas. Breakkfast options in hotel very good too.

The staff at reception was friendly and tried their best to communicate. However, our welcome drinks was not mentioned at all during check-in and throughout our stay and the rooms were pretty dated. Housekeeping were not the best either as we took photos of stuff left behind by previous guest at prominent area such as headboard of beds.

I could feel that it was quite an old accommodation, but it is well managed and the price is relatively low compared to the hotel size and facilities.

overall this hotel was excellent. We could smell smoke (cigarette) but we had a air purifier that helped the smell. We did not take advantage of the breakfast in the hotel since we had more options within walking distance. Staff was accommodating and friendly always offering their assistance.

Classic

Classic old-style 5-star hotel. Great service, clean and comfortable. Just some of the design features around room and lobby facilities starting to look a little bit old world.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The staff were very helpful and were very patient as there were a couple times that communication was a little challenging. The room was spacious and comfortable and I really liked how clean everything was. The food in the hotel's restaurants was excellent. There are a lot of places to shop in the area and transportation was easy as well. I really enjoyed my time at the New Otani and I would definitely stay here again!

■Good The hotel has a long history and the facilities and staff maintain a first-class feel. The hotel is close to the subway station, within walking distance to downtown, offers Times car sharing in the parking lot, and has a large capacity, making it suitable as a hotel for family trips. ■Not Good The wifi in the rooms does not provide enough access bandwidth to the internet and would like to see improvements.
