If you want to rest in a luxurious environment and enjoy an endless view, this is what you are looking for! We guarantee that you will have your dream vacation, in a house full of good taste, a fantastic swimming pool and jacuzzi, which will refresh your days in Madeira.

Situated between Amparo and Piornais, this villa offers all the facilities and conditions for a large family or for a holiday with your group of friends!

The large areas, the garden and the various places of rest, define the "personality" of this house. Here, you can keep your reading up to date, or simply get out of the routine.

Come and enjoy yourself, and bring the whole family! We have a suite, four bedrooms and two leisure areas inside the house. Outside you can admire the garden, with several rest areas, an area with barbecue, a small vegetable garden and a nice swimming pool overlooking the vast Atlantic Ocean. Next to it, a jacuzzi to relax. If you rent a car, the house has a private parking area.


THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Inserted on a road with few movement, this property is only at ten minutes away from the center of Funchal, its services and multiple restaurants. This area is fairly quiet. Near the house there is a bakery, cafes and supermarkets. In three minutes (by car) you are at the Forum Madeira Shopping Center, where you will find a wide variety of shops, supermarket, restaurants and movie theatres.

GETTING AROUND
We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the house. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

To get to downtown Funchal, there are bus stops nearby.

Cleaning services during the stay, as well as the replacement of bed linen, towels, and consumables, are carried out on a weekly basis. If you wish extra cleaning service this can be arranged at an extra, affordable charge. The weekly cleaning and the replacement of bed linen, towels, and consumables will not be carried out for stays of less than seven nights.

Magnificent Villa

Such a fantastic Villa, it really is exactly like the pictures show. The beds are comfy with high quality mattresses and linen. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and of good size. The check in process was very smooth and flexible and the communication with the staff made things very easy. Plenty of areas to relax and sit and lots of sun beds in the garden. Spent a lot of time chilling on the terrace and in the pool with the fantastic view to the ocean. We will definitely be back in the future!

Beautiful house to enjoy your stay in Madeira

Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at this house. It is massive with room for everyone to spread out. The kids loved having room to run around outside and were thrilled with the trampoline and pool table. The pool is not heated, so it was a bit chilly during our stay in early May, but the kids still took a dip. The hot tub was lovely. The view was the best part. Absolutely stunning view of the ocean. Management was responsive and helpful when we reached out to fix a couple things. Everything was resolved quickly. The only drawback of the property is that is a bit remote. High up on a hill and not walking distance to much. It was easy enough to get a Bolt to take us where we needed to go though. And of course, the view was spectacular.

The property was lovely. The view was spectacular. The pool was lovely other than that the underwater lights didn’t work and are never going to. Big disappointment with the hot tub. It was clear that although they were telling us they were going to fix it that it’s been broken for a while and it’s not going to be fixed. They gave us a pittance back to try to make us happy, but it wasn’t enough to make anyone happy. Two of the bathrooms had absolutely foul smells coming from the drains. We reported that and they said they would send someone but never did. We had to stuff toilet paper in the drains and unstuff them every time we wanted to use that fixture. Otherwise, the smell was unbearable.

Wonderful vila!

I highly recommend this vila for everyone who wants to have a wonderful time in Madeira. Very good equiped, it has even to much space for our group of 9 colleagues. When arrived we did not even managed find the fifth bedroom, how big it is!

Great Location, but Kitchen and BBQ Setup Could Be Improved

We stayed at the villa last week with a group of 9 people. The house can accommodate up to 10 guests, which was perfect for our group size. Positives: * The location of the house is great. * Bedrooms and bathrooms met our expectations and were comfortable. Areas for improvement: * The BBQ is located at the back of the house near the car park, while the main outdoor area and poolside are at the front. This makes it less convenient when you're enjoying time with your group in the garden. * The kitchen is poorly equipped for cooking for a group of 10. The utensils and materials provided are of low quality, which made meal preparation challenging.

Het is een prachtig, royaal en goed ontworpen huis met heerlijk goed onderhouden zwembad en jacuzzi. Wij waren met 8 volwassenen en een baby en hebben volop genoten van alle voorzieningen. De bedden waren goed, de waskeuken (laundry) perfect, het biljart goed, de badkamers goed.Er waren ook een paar minpunten. Zo waren alle vuilniscontainers helemaal vol toen we aankwamen. Onze eigen vuilnis kon er niet meer bij. An Island apart reageerde pas na drie dagen op deze klacht. Na drie dagen werd het pas geleegd. en aan het einde van de 8 dagen was de situatie weer hetzelfde: alles vol en geen vuilnis-pick-up. De BBQ was vies. De uitrusting van de keuken is mager, IKEA kwaliteit, onvoldoende om goed te koken voor 9 mensen. De ijskast deed het slecht (dan weer veel te koud en alle melk bevroren, dan weer veel te warm en alle melk bedorven. niet in te stellen). De vuilnisbakjes IN de keuken zijn veel te gammel en veel te klein voor een huis voor 10 personen.Toen de afstandsbediening van de poort het niet meer deed zaten we even gevangen in het huis. An Island apart reageerde wederom niet. Iemand van ons is toen lopend (de auto kon er niet uit) een batterij gaan kopen en gelukkig bleek dat na een uur de oplossing. De hike die gepland stond kon echter niet meer doorgaan door de delay. Misschien handig om een extra batterij achter te laten. Verder vinden we 4 ligbedden aan het zwembad voor een huis voor 10 personen wat weinig. Maar verder hebben we een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Idyllic location

Beautiful Villa with lots of space

Very beautiful spacious Villa with lots of rooms and amenities. Some maintenance issues with Pool Lights and Dryer not spinning. The entrance for a car is not that easy as it is very steep and you have to make a sharp turn. Bit after a few times, you will get use to it. Apart from that, all is perfect for a big group.

Excellent, with some room for improvement

The house is beautifully located-- amazing views, not too far from Funchal proper. Most of the rooms are bright. All are spacious. The house is well designed, and well-equiped. One room was on the dark side, because if you open up the ground floor French doors, then bugs come in. But it's a minor point. The points of improvement: - The cleaning people were still in the house when we checked in, even though we checked in after the check-in time. We were fine with that, but the cleaners themselves told me they didn't have enough time to do a good job, as the house is so big. Accordingly some of the floors were still a bit dirty. - The property manager is hard to reach. They asked us to contact them the day before or day of to see if we could check in early. Fabio didn't respond to my text or pick up his phone. When we had an issue with the water, again no one picked up the phone. We had to contact them via VRBO. That said, when they did call us back, they took care of the issue as well as we could have hoped. - There was an ant infestation. (kitchen, and entrance to 2 of the bedrooms). When we pointed it out, they took care of it, which was great. But I gather it's a recurring issue. The above is not to dissuade people from the house. On the contrary, the setting is superb, we loved the jacuzzi, and the location, and the house itself was spacious and beautifully designed. Also, enclosed garden so you don't worry about the kids getting lost. We were very happy there.

The house is about 4 km from downtown Funchal and has a nice view. There is a big Supermarket in the near. The car entrance is a little bit complicated. To sit in the whirlpool in the evening is great. The house is very big. 3 living rooms. One with a billard table. All is clean. Unfortunately there was not 1 bottle of water or a few bananas there (we arrived after midnight) and we had nothing to eat and to drink until the next day.
