"Te property is in excellent condition and it has clearly had an extensive refurbishment to a high standard. The check in was the easiest i can remember. On arrival the key was waiting for me. The room was very comfortable and had good WIfI access. Ther was a kitchenette and large TV/Games room with plenty of tea and coffee. The location of the hotel lends itself to a very peaceful and relaxing stay making an excellent base for those looking for some tranquil surroundings. The Property is full of character and charm. The property was full of surprises in a very positive way "

"Quite frankly, we found Hotel Skivehus very expensive for what you received. Lots of fancies, but not too functional. No body lotion, no bath mat, and what toiletteries that were provided were in individual small bottles, which is a huge waste. Much better to provide everything in large bottles, that can be refilled. Breakfast was good. When in Copenhagen, we stay at an excellent hotel, which is functional, comfortable, has an equally excellent breakfast, and is very close to the center of the city - and much cheaper, fewer frills."

"To call this a hotel is a stretch, its more like a guesthouse. No reception on arrival, even though published as open to 6pm (which says it all!!). Restaurant not open on arrival Sunday evening, which I was awre of, but to be told Monday evening there is only one choice of meal......this is not a Restaurant! Like others, I think this is an over priced 'guesthouse' for what it offers, even the breakfast was very basic for the overall cost. The only positive comment I could make is that there was a fan in the room to provide some cooling."
