"The Casa do Ze is very well equipped with all utensils and essentials for cooking your own meals. The coffee maker is a moka pot, (first time using one) that makes great espresso. Bathroom supplies are also provided. The Casa is located at the end of a street and is a renovated old home, so it's more authentic than some other stays. The communication with the owner was excelent. WiFi was OK but sometimes cut out. Also, hot water supply was finicky as sometimes there would be plenty and other times none."

"Great location in Velas, beautiful property with pool, sitting deck with ocean view, sunsets and Morro Grande view and hiking within 10 minutes walk. Close to supermarket and restaurants, ideal location in Velas. Good buffet breakfast. Beds were a little too firm for me but great for my partner...highly recommended for location, cleanliness and great staff! "

"An excellent new Hotel in the Island and I am sure it will become a reference. Incredible architecture which uses local materials. Fantastic views from some of the rooms towards the Mountain of Pico. Staff is so nice. A special thanks to Daniela and Bianca. They accommodated vegan options for my wife. A newly opened Hotel which I am sure will only get better with time! "

"Place is pretty beat up and could use some maintenence for sure. Oh, and the fire alarm was going off for a solid 3 hours in the middle of the night which made it pretty tough to sleep.
