"I had a pleasant stay at APA Hotel Kokura Ekimae. The location is a major highlight—it’s about a 5-minute walk from Kokura Station, making it very convenient for getting around. It’s also close to popular spots like Kokura Castle and Tanga Market, which made sightseeing easy. The hotel operates largely on self-service, which may take a little getting used to, but everything is quite efficient. Even so, the staff are available and willing to assist when needed, which I appreciated. Overall, a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience and accessibility in Kokura."

"Needed to pay 3000 yen per person to go to the pool that was listed as a property amenity. Only those who are on a higher floor have access included with their room. Since we weren't on a top floor room - just the 23rd floor, we were told we would need to pay extra to access it. Really, the pool should not be listed as a property amenity if it's not available for guests unless we pay extra. View was really nice. Staff were really nice. We specifically chose to make a reservation at this hotel because it had a pool."
