Great quiet weekend away! We really liked the area and enjoyed walking our dogs down the trails! super close to a boat ramp which was convenient and still not far if you want to go out for dinner!
Love this cabin and the location. I would suggest bringing either plastic or more utensils. There is not enough silverware to last your stay!

Anniversary trip
It was very clean. It was disappointing that it was advertised as lake/water front property but no water to even walk to other than a water treatment plant. Very nice check in. It was at least 20 minutes from town and restaurants. Nice for a quick getaway.
Quiet and quaint! Cabin could use some deep cleaning and new dishes. Cups are cracked, not nearly enough utensils, and grilling tools. But hubby and I enjoyed the relaxation in the woods 🙂
My husband and i took a last minte getaway and found the Guntersville Alabama locatin from an AARP review of USA cities must see. This location completely fir the bill. We were able to take our pets and they enjoyed the trip as well. This location was great we were right around the corner from Lake Guntersville National Park where we rented a fishing pontoon boat and spent the day on the beautiful lake,,Our tiny house was perfect, quiet plenty if privacy,,great setting for famiilies, fishing buddies or or just quiet getaways. We had everything we needed. These are tiny homes so take that into consideration, the bedrooms are small and tight. Will visit again.
Upon arriving after 2 AM, we get to the cabin after picking up our key and realized that they gave us the wrong key for our cabin. Due to the distance, initially we were told we would have to wait 25 to 30 minutes and after being on the road for as long as we were with our two children, that wait would have been devastating. But everything was quickly resolved and our stay was great. We just wished we would have been able to stay longer. Thank you for resolving our issue and having enough empathy and accountability to not only message me but for also giving me a phone call. we will be back soon…maybe in a week. Our plan was to go TN but we loved the scenery!
I absolutely loved everything about my stay. We definitely needed this little getaway. Everything was clean the staff was amazing, i truly cant complain. The property was clean, the tiny house cabin was so cute! My family and i plan on making this our getaway at least twice a year.
quiet more remote area on lake guntersville. on the end of a peninsula away from all traffic. borders on for ever wild and state park land . new cabin small but had plenty of room for 2.made for a delightful get away.
We had a wonderful time with my grandchildren but the water was not as close to our cabin as it appeared to be on the website.. too far to walk with little ones so we drove and really enjoyed ourselves. Just wish it had been closer
Responsive to questions on the day sent. Sent pictures of plastic toilet seat burned and reported a greasy smell (I didnt want charges to me). I had to explain them that day (I was there for a wedding and busy) despite pictures, which is where I should of "read the listing." One set of linens (and roll of tp!) as "its in the listing" as I was told. Would encourage anyone to "look at the listing." This is my second VRBO experience, not sure there will be a third- perhaps VRBO can read the listing or revise their reviews so owners don't feel the need to be so blunt and aggressive when their customers just want to cover themselves to avoid extra charges.
We had a 2 night girls trip and it was perfect! Mary was great to deal with and super accommodating! The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed! Loved the covered porch and the fire pit!
Everything was perfect! Property is in new condition, AC's are quiet and cold, furniture, appliances, silverware, etc. were all up to snuff. I've thought back on our stay there and am planning a return trip. 1st time staying in a tiny house and loved it- even with 5 children.
