Great location, beautiful historically registered 1892 Victorian style house. The host could not have been more friendly and his dog was a delight. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The Inn is cozy and comfortable. The Victorian house is beautiful inside and out. The owner/ host is very interesting and helpful and has an adorable dog that at times meets you at the door with tail wagging. The bed was comfortable. We really liked the antique furnishings.

One thing I love about this inn that is not a compliment I am ever able to give hotels is that the bathtubs are wonderful. I've stayed at a hotel with a cracked fiberglass shell, another with a tub bottom that felt like I was going to break through. The tubs at the inn are a lovely SOLID cast iron. (And the hot water is HOT!)

This is a 133-year old house, so yes there are going to be some bumps and dings. The room itself was quite fabulous! We had the two-room suite and it has a very large deck, solely for that room. We had a washer and dryer in our room, which was so helpful. The bathroom is a tad cramped and has a claw-foot tub and small sink - I only had a problem with the sink when washing my face (I’m also very short). The owner was extremely accommodating and put a temporary safety bar in the tub for me, as I am disabled. The property has stairs, so a walker or wheelchair cannot be used. The house is in a lovely neighborhood and it is easy to get to DC, Arlington, Annapolis, Baltimore. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely go back!

The Inn was very clean. The location was ideal for trips into DC. The neighborhood was quiet. The breakfast needed to be restocked sooner.

It was quite the treat to stay in this old house. I enjoyed seeing all the antique furniture. It was also nice to have a full kitchen to use. Check in was easy with a door code being provided electronically.

Nice, quiet, and cozy place to stay. Comfy beds and clean rooms. Ample continental breakfast and good restaurants within walking distance. It’s an old house but is well kept and everything is in decent shape. Guests must carry luggage up one or two flights of stairs. Good value overall.

6/10 Okay

The house is cute, but a little rickety (appropriate given its age). The Silver Suite was spacious with partial views to the outside and a comfortable bed. However, upon check-in we found that the dirty bed linens had not been changed after the previous guest.

In the DC suburbs

Private house with rooms. there is a kitchen that can be used. Reasonable price, local station is about 10 mis walk, Metro about 20 min drive. Plenty of places to eat within 15 mins walk. Would use again

Lovely home and good location, but more like a communal air b&b than a bed and breakfast. There are items made available for you to have or cook, & then clean up yourself. Shared kitchen with everything you need.
