Cozy Up in Woodland Vista Retreat on Creekwood - Fireplace & Dog Friendly

Welcome to Woodland Vista Retreat– a cozy villa that is a 15 minute beautiful drive to Downtown Galena. Please note: this home is dog-friendly for an additional fee.

This split-level villa comfortably sleeps 4 in two Queen bedrooms, with extra space for up to 2 more guests thanks to two Queen sleeper sofas—one in the loft and one in the main living room.

Inside the Villa
• Upper Level: A private Queen bedroom with its own full bath, plus a loft area w/a Queen sleeper sofa. Perfect for relaxing or games!
• Main Level: A second Queen bedroom and another full bathroom provide comfort and privacy.
The living room is warm and cozy with a wood-burning fireplace, (we provide the firewood), smart TV, Bluetooth speaker for music, and a plethora of games and puzzles in the storage table.
The fully equipped kitchen opens to the dining and living areas, creating an easy, relaxing flow. Each bedroom also includes a smart TV with Netflix, Disney+, and more.

Outdoor Living
Step onto the back deck for seasonal views of the Eagle Ridge South Golf Course. Enjoy a morning coffee or late afternoon wine, grill dinner on the gas grill (propane provided), and unwind around the propane firepit under the stars.

As our guest you will have access to the GTA Owners Club. The indoor pool is open year-round and the outdoor pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day (sometimes longer). The club is an exclusive amenity that can be used by only Galena Territory property owners and their guests. The Owners' Club includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool w/slides, a kiddie pool, fitness room, game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, seasonal snack bar, free WiFi, and outdoor playground. Don’t forget to visit Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center and hiking trails throughout the 6,800-acre property. Disclaimer: You may not have enough cards for your entire group. Guest passes can be purchased for just $5 a day at the GTA admin office or pool entrance, staying with us grants you access, it may not be free. Please remember usage of the amenities is NEVER guaranteed. We do not discount or refund due their closure.

When you book a home with us we will require 30% down, this is a payment not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days prior to check in. If you cancel prior to the 14 days you will receive the first payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14 day mark your stay will become non-refundable and dates cannot be adjusted. Please Note: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking, we ask this be signed and filed within 48 hours of receiving to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 or older at the time of booking and present during the entire stay. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file at the time of booking. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts. We do not have a Covid or weather Cancellation Policy, we highly recommend the travel insurance offered at check out. We offer Travel and Damage protections insurance through CSA.

*Check in details are sent 3 days prior to your arrival to the email on file. This includes the address, access code and other pertinent home/area information. Early check in is never guaranteed and cannot be considered until the night before or morning of your arrival. The check in details will cover this process.

Perfect for a girls getaway weekend

Myself and 5 friends stayed here for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time. The unit was very clean and as described in the listing. Galena is just a short drive so we spent a good amount of time there eating and shopping. We would stay at this location again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Get Away Spot

This was a beautiful place to stay. The home was clean and beautiful, we really enjoyed the deck, it was in a great location. And the price was incredible. Just one request, I missed that the description said it was a split-level home. You should mention it is not handicapped accessible. I am in a wheelchair and the high entry step and having to go up or down stairs to get in was a challenge. Well worth the challenge, but a challenge none the less!

Between suitcases and snowy shoes it was a real chore. Beds were to the hard side. Someone moved the cushion on the couch and found a dirty sock and other debris in it. Coffee maker at best would have been done brewing the full pot in an hour. Cup we took out of the cupboard had lipstick on it. (I wiped off and it certainly was a chore)

Very Cute Townhouse

The only issue we had was the lack of certain items in the kitchen. Hard to make meals for 5 people with only one tiny frying pan, no pot holders and all the spices were expired. We made do and management was notified over the lack of cooking pans. The unit did not have extra towels for the pool, so make sure to pack those. Management was very responsive and the emails about our stay were very informative.

Think you’d want to know that the dishwasher is not attached to the counter and kept falling out when we placed dishes in it. Just needs a couple of screws. Also there were not nearly enough washcloths in the bathrooms...just five cloths for 4 people for three nights. We hope to visit again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We also went to another restaurant in the Galena Territory that had a delicious buffet so delicious 😋.And wow I am not a golfer but wow the courses were so beautiful and very well taken care of wow so many courses.

Great Mini Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great holiday weekend with my inlaws, wife, and 2 young kids. Very clean, beautiful view out back. Towels for all of us, washer/dryer on site, and a ton of natural light. Kids and family had no issues using the amenities. Grill worked great and was clean. Only complaints would be that the townhouse is better suited for 4 people. It can sleep 6 but sofa bed is the typical springy, hard, inconsistent, and uncomfortable fold out bed and the kitchen table only has 4 chairs. We used 2 stools at counter for other two and it worked but not ideal for 6. Perfect for 4 people. Those are my only complaints and they are minor and didn't affect the weekend at all. Would definitely go again (but with only 4). Thank you to the owner for a great weekend. Looking forward to coming back.
