This newly refreshed home has an open 3300 square foot floor plan with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom is wheelchair accessible.
On the main level, you are greeted by a warm gathering room with vaulted ceiling, a gas fireplace, which can be started with the flip of a switch. Adjoining the gathering room and separated by a counter is the fully equipped open kitchen with an eating area to accommodate 12 people.
Through sliding glass doors, just off the eating area, is a secluded deck equipped with a grill for barbequing, octagonal picnic table, and two Adirondack chairs for watching the wildlife and birds of Galena. There is also, a screened-in porch, with wicker furniture for reading books or chatting with friends.
With 2 bedrooms on the main floor there is room to spread out. One guest bedroom has a king size bed with a bathroom that doubles as a guest bathroom for the gathering room. The other guest bedroom has a king size bed and an attached bathroom, which is wheel chair accessible.
The upstairs has a quiet reading/sitting area that overlooks the downstairs gathering room. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs both with attached bathrooms one has a queen size bed with a walk in shower the other has a king size bed with a tub shower combo.
The fifth bedroom which also has a king size bed is located on the lower level. The lower level bathroom is a full bath with a shower stall and it doubles as a guest bathroom for the TV/recreation room. The recreation room has an air hockey/ping-pong table combo, a table for cards, chess, checkers etc. and a conversation seating area with an entertainment center that includes a DVD player and Dish network TV.
The laundry room is also on the lower level, with two washers and two drier this house is well suited for longer stays.
Off the recreation room, through sliding glass doors, is the lower level patio deck with outdoor furniture and a lovely 8 person hot tub.
This home is located about seven minutes from The Galena Territory homeowners club or the Inn and ten minutes to downtown Galena. Six proximity cards are available for your use in accessing the homeowners club and will be at the home when you arrive.
