Welcome to Vista View - relax and unwind in this inviting & beautiful vacation home with panoramic views of the stunning scenery of The Galena Territory and direct views of the 11th fairway of Eagle Ridge's South Golf Course. This home is in a prime resort location, a 5-minute drive to the Galena Territory Owners Club, 7 miles to historic Downtown Galena, and many wedding & event venues such as Ashton Hill, Eagle Ridge, Oak Hill Farm, & more. This exceptional home accommodates up to 6 guests.

As you enter Vista View, you walk into an open and exceptionally appointed home. The main living room is the perfect space to connect with family and friends while playing games on the large coffee table and enjoying the solid stone floor-to-ceiling wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen/dining/family room combo is the ideal spot for gathering while making meals and spending time with the people you care about.

The home boasts two bedrooms and three full bathrooms, each with a king-size bed; the lower-level bedroom also has a queen bed. This home sits on the 11th hole of the Eagle Ridge South Golf course with a hot tub overlooking the course -- perfect for stargazing at night or taking in the sweeping views of the Territory during the day. Fire up the Weber grill, pour yourself a drink, have a seat at the patio table or on the screen porch, and enjoy the views of the Galena Hillside and Golf Course. There's a fire-pit our back for your enjoyment. Inside the home, there are all the fixings to make Smores while you enjoy the fire in the darkness of the Galena sky. The highly-appointed kitchen has everything you need to make quick meals or holiday feasts.

This home is dog-friendly (Hypoallergenic/non-shedding dogs will only be accepted); a non-refundable dog fee of $150 applies to any booking with a dog up to 2 max. In your booking request, please indicate the dog breed/type.

The Galena Territory is a Certified Dark Sky Community --- this means no street lights to pollute the night sky. Bring your telescope or your favorite Stargazer app to explore the night sky.

This house can comfortably accommodate three (3) cars in the driveway.

Vista View offers access to the Owner's Club amenities; 6 access cards are provided for use of the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, basketball, pickleball, and tennis courts, Lake Galena, and the Marina. If necessary, additional guest passes may be purchased at the Owners Club ($5 per day for anyone over 5 years of age)

We highly encourage purchasing Travel Insurance as we do not have a COVID or Weather Cancellation Policy; available after booking.

**All COVID-19 related restrictions have been lifted for the Galena Territory Owners Club including capacity limits and reservations for most amenities. There are a few amenities that do still require reservations - lap swimming at the indoor pool, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and outdoor basketball courts. This is subject to change if the State of Illinois re-institutes restrictions related to the pandemic. Reservations cannot be guaranteed, and there are no discounts or refunds if the Owner's Club amenities are not available. **

We sooo enjoyed our Thanksgiving away at Vista View. Very comfortable for our family. All the kitchen tools you could need, games, spacious… and a hot tub! This is a very well maintained vacation home and we could come back in a heartbeat. Bonus points for Brian, who helped us book 2 separate houses and made the process so easy.

GOLF TRIP

My sons and I enjoyed our annual Eagle Ridge golf weekend. The weather was perfect. This property was perfect, great view from the deck on #11 hole South course. Plenty of room for 4 guys and hosted a dinner of 7 guys on the deck. I would highly recommend this house and hope to stay here again.

Just what we needed!

What a wonderful long weekend and a perfect property to stay at! The house was exactly as described and Brian made everything about the weekend so easy! We loved the hot tub, shooting hoops at the owners club and playing pickleball. The screened porch was perfect for sipping coffee with a beautiful view. The house was super clean and had anything we could have needed! Would stay again!

My friends and I had a cozy and comfortable stay at the property. The house was well set up, and included lots of the basics, which we appreciated. The location was excellent, as it was central to places we visited: Stonedrift Spa, main restaurant, general store, and an easy drive into Galena. We would definitely stay again!

What an amazing home! The whole family went down to Galena for a weekend getaway and could not be happier with the house. Great location about 15-20 minutes from downtown. Well appointed and clean. We had 2 daughters with friends so we all liked having each bedroom on a separate floor. The girls loved the hot tub. The screened in porch is nice to relax and enjoy the view.

Great house for a friends gathering!

Three bedrooms with their own bathroom. Beds very comfortable. Quiet neighbor with backyard butting up to a golf course. Host thought of everything, including wood for the fire pit and ingredients for s’mores. House was very clean. We had a great time!

Family Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our weekend getaway to Galena. It was our first visit to the area and the house provided a great place to relax when we weren't exploring the town. It was extremely cozy, beds comfy, kitchen well stocked with supplies, and we enjoyed the hot tub immensely. The house is very spacious so we never felt like we were on top of each other. The view of the golf course and surrounding bluffs was gorgeous. The owner was very responsive!
