Property was in a lovely setting with nice outdoor seating at front of cabin. Amenities were comfortable although somewhat dated. Where things fell down was that there was no one at the property to meet us. A fellow guest phoned the owner who said that he did not hold a reservation for us. Eventually with the involvement of the Expedia help desk we were able to get owner to confirm that we did in fact have a booking. We were let in to our room by the fellow guest (and not the owner) who had been instructef where the key was located. The owner asked us to pay again which we declined. Two hours to check in!! Communication was appalling and it appears that the owner/operator does not live onsite. The cabin was fine overall but the owner’s attitude does not make me wish to return.

very convenient location. but not clean room

the place is wonderful. however the room was not clean. we found dirt beside the bed and on the shelves. The sheets didnt fit the bed mattress- they were too small. The bathroom was not clean. New amenities such as shampoo and conditioner were put on a dirty glass. the kitchen also was filthy. Moreover, some maintenance is recommended as the light beside the bed didn't work, and there is one curtain missing. overall the place can be amazing if taken care of well.
