About this property

Gallatin Riverfront retreat! Wood Stove! Large Porch!

  • Welcome to River Light Cabin!

River Light Cabin is tucked among the trees of the Gallatin Canyon, perfectly situated between Big Sky and Bozeman creating the ideal location for Montana adventures. A large back porch sits right on the river, where you can sip a glass of wine under the stars, cast a line to catch a fish, and fall asleep to the rush of the Gallatin river.

Inside provides the feel of the perfect getaway. The living room invites you to sit in front of the wood stove, warm up with a cup of coffee, and settle in with the background noise of the river just outside. The fully equipped kitchen offers space for a home-cooked family meal, a catch-up with friends, or a quiet evening for two

When the evening winds down, retreat to one of two bedrooms. The primary bedroom is upstairs in the loft with a queen bed, closet, and ensuite half bathroom offering comfort and convenience. On the main floor sits the second bedroom with a queen bed providing the ultimate place to recharge for the next day.

The fireplace is currently out of order and is in the process of being repaired. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Incredible place. If this place is open, book it immediately. Wonderful hosts and location on a Montana river. We literally fly fished off the back deck and drank coffee by the river.

We appointed house. Convenient location between Gallatin & Big Sky. Coffee on back deck overlooking river was awesome. Trails available to hike directly from the house. Highway noise at night was a little concern but not deal breaker. Would stay here again. Thx!

Wonderful property! Not sure you could ask for better views. Fly fished right off the deck for 3 days, but didn't catch anything. Well equipped and clean. We will 100% be back. Host was very quick to respond with lock box issues.
