We had a great time at this authentic cabin. The scenery was beautiful, right in the river, and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.
I loved my Gallatin River cabin accommodations. Close enough to Big Sky resort and a couple local bar/restaurants while still feeling like an adventurous mountain experience.
Really enjoyed our stay, had all the amenities and strong wifi. Always warm and hot water.
Highly recommended for a ski trip. Great location riverside !
We loved the cabin! It felt remote even though it was close to skiing and just a little further to Yellowstone. Staying at the cabin was the centerpiece of our family holiday trip. Beautiful river surrounded by snow and stars.
Great place with all the amenities to enjoy time away and easy access to the surrounding areas... Kitchen fully stocked, hot water shower, stove keeps the heat all night. We enjoyed using it as a 'home base' during our MT/WY adventures.
Stayed here for 4-nights on a skit trip. Just a great little cabin in a beautiful location. Fully equipped and cozy. Peaceful location with river right out the front door.Easy, scenic 30-minute drive to Big Sky. 10-15 minutes from Riverhouse for great dinners. The Corral not far away either for drinks and dinner.
The location was amazing so beautiful and just secluded enough that it was a perfect get away. So much to explore right in the backyard. perfect size for two adults, everything you need is just a short drive up to big sky. Would book again!!!!
This is a great little place. Beautiful view out in the front deck. Could have used a TV for background noise but it was a nice change. Would stay again. Feel like a true Montana stay rather than at a resort that feel corporate.
We loved the cabin and the location. It was very quiet. There is a small resort across the river but we hardly noticed. Also, it’s close to a lot of amazing hiking trails, whitewater rafting, and fishing. Highly recommend!
Super cute, clean and nice. We stayed in the winter. The wood burning stove is a cool touch and everything was as we thought. One note for folks coming in the winter is that the parking is a bit away from the cabin so you need to lug your luggage and food through the snow, which may not be easy for everyone. Happy traveling, nice place!
We loved the simplicity of this rustic property. We didn’t need more than it offered, and we liked being so close to the river. The price was reasonable and the daily drive to Big Sky was not a problem at all.
The cabin was clean and had ample cooking utensils. The only thing is the lack of electrical outlets. No outlets in the loft and when cooking you had to unplug the coffee pot or toaster in order to fix either.
The cabin was awesome!! Had everything we needed and was in a great location for everything we wanted to experience in northern Montana! Natalie was fantastic at answering questions and modifying our reservation…one of the best hosts we have had!!—The cabin is located behind Cinnamon Lodge, on a road that doesn’t quite look like a road, it took a minute to find it, and there is no cell signal to call and ask. It truly is right on the river, it was spectacular!!
My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and 4 days and we LOVED it. It was just the right size. It stayed warm the entire time with no drafts which was great since it snowed for 3 of those days. The sounds of the river flowing was very peaceful. The location is great-about 10 minutes from Big Sky and 45 from West Yellowstone. The bridge to get to the cabin looks very rickety but was actually very sturdy. We definitely would stay again.
We booked this sweet cabin for our ski trip to Big Sky. It proved to be an amazing base for our adventures. Quiet, serene and private was just what we needed. We did not mind the hike in over the snow packed bridge, but could see this as a problem for those with mobility issues. Natalie was absolutely great at getting back to us when we had questions, and the cabin was toasty warm. We will definately be back.
Right on the river with a fantastic view and good fishing. There was a little more traffic noise than I expected, but not bad. It is a tighter fit than expected and could benefit from a few things in the kitchen, an arm chair or couch and resupply of trash bags with a larger can for longer stays like ours.
In general, it was great, and the price was right. If I ever get to go back, it is on my short list of places to stay!
This cabin was great for a 5 day, 4 night stay. About a 24 minute drive to Big Sky resort. The cabin is located across the river from the parking area, and you have to cross a bridge by foot, but it's not a very long walk. Beautiful river view out of the front window. The heater was responsive and everything was functional and tidy.
I would definitely stay again!
My husband and I stayed here for a week visiting Yellowstone. It made a great home base. Plenty of amenities and a great view out the front window. It was perfect for our trip!
Full disclosure: It needs a deep clean, but it was clean in the every day used areas (bed, kitchen, bathroom). There is no comfortable place to sit except the bed.
Very nice property. Good location to Big Sky and Yellowstone. Quiet area.
Bridge that gets you to the property is a little concerning but does its job. Loved the river and the calmness there. No TV but that is ok you don't really need it Wish there was maybe a cozier seating option in the cabin. Great kitchen and very comfortable bed. Slept great!
This place is so beautiful in winter. There's a little big open window that overlooks the river and a cute loft with two extra mattresses. There's also a wood burning stove which was perfect for a cozy winter night. While this location was perfect for me and my boyfriend, is that this would not be a good place for anyone who is handicapped. There was some deep snow to hike through leading up to the lodge. But again, that was great for us since we were there to ski big sky! Overall BEAUTIFUL lodge on a river.
Our stay at this cabin was freaking awesome. We stayed from june 16th till the 22nd. Had a light dusting of snow the first couple days which just added to the beauty of the surrounding area. The cabin was rustic and set the vibe for the celebration of my wife and I's 10th wedding anniversary. We fell in love with that place!!! Was about a 45 mintue drive to west yellowstone, and about an hour to Bozeman. 15 minites or so to Big Sky. We used it as our home base to explore Yellowstone National Park and many other places. 100% recommend!!!
Our stay at this cabin in the Gallatin Range was nothing short of spectacular. Perched above the river and surrounded by majestic mountains, it offered the perfect tranquility and natural beauty blend. Just a 45-minute drive from West Yellowstone, it was an ideal base for our visits to Yellowstone National Park.
The cabin was cozy and inviting, providing a peaceful escape from the noise and stress of everyday life. We could fully unwind, listening only to the sounds of nature. The views from the cabin were breathtaking, with the pristine river below and the towering peaks around us.
Suppose you're looking for a serene getaway to immerse yourself in nature while still being close enough to explore Yellowstone. In that case, this is the place to be. We left feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated, already planning our return!
