"We had a lovely stay here but not without issues. The place itself is lovely, the staff were great and very welcoming. We opted to go for the premium room with the outdoor shower however on arrival we had a loud and leaky AC unit. We spoke to the team and they were unable to get spare parts to fix it because of independence day which was incredibly annoying as all night it rattled and droned. "They need to work on the food. Absolutely no options. I know it is a wellness property but do not rry to be officious on random cousines.. if we are travelling to Sri Lanka we want healthy local cousines too."

"The property was clean and convenient. The staff were helpful when requested. However, maintenance work has to be carried out in the apartment. The shower and the sink in the bathroom got flooded when used. The stove and the washing machine were malfunctioning. And the room was not cleaned during the period, though the terms and conditions state that it would be cleaned after the 5th day."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The manager Chandana Lakmal and the rest of the staff were attentive to our every need, setting us up with transport to and from Colombo as well as tickets for the ongoing Test match. Everyone was incredibly kind without ever coming off as obsequious. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the property was simply gorgeous - an oasis of utter calm amidst the Galle hubbub. It is well located in that one can walk to the historic Fort area in 20 minutes. Definitely our first port of call at any future trips!"

"Great location inside the fort walls, so close to shopping, dining and historic sites. Staff very so nice and helpful, and the breakfasts, which were different every day and were freshly made local food, are probably the best breakfasts we've had in any country when travelling overseas. Beautifully restored building with tasteful period style decor. Good a/c plus a ceiling fan"

"This is a Beautiful old Villa right in the heart of Galle Fort. Room was amazing very generous in size and beautifully styled in colonial manner, huge balcony and excellent bathroom leading off the balcony all 100% private we loved it ! A beautiful small pool which I enjoyed a lot. Full service for fools and beverage should it be required. Breakfast was a real treat served in the dining area overlooking the garden and pool. Staff were 1st rate and helped make the stay special. I will be back !"
