The hotel has character but it is very basic. Breakfast is not available. There is no restaurant. The wifi mostly did not work. There was a complex device for showers that did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. The towels had seen better days. There was no TV. The room was not serviced in the three days I stayed in Galle. On the positive side, the location on Church St was excellent, the AC and fan both worked, there was a small fridge, and there was a pleasant balcony with chairs. The cost was about the same as the Ramada in Colombo, but there was no comparison in terms of comfort or amenities. I had completely the wrong impression of this very small hotel from the Expedia description.

Beautiful hotel in great location

We loved Dream Villa! It is a beautiful building right in the middle of Galle- you cannot ask for a better location! The room was great, big comfy bed and good a/c. Service was great (we checked in with a young guy who did not speak a lot of English but he was so nice and helpful) and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Dream Villa!

I WILL BE COMING AGAIN!

Excellent! We were surprised by this how nice this was. Clean, comfortable rooms that even had a fridge, and air conditioning was nice and strong. The breakfast was wonderful. The location also is great--delightful strolls around the fort and old town, with its many shops, restaurants and museums; also easy access to the nearby train station, or a short tultuk ride to the beach areas of Unawatuna!

Lovely place to stay, very central and very comfor

A fantastic find, with a great room, comfortable bed and a lovely host in Rasika. Great breakfast too! Had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this little gem.
