This raised, coastal home is the perfect choice for your next Galveston Island getaway! Just 1 minute drive from pristine gulf beaches, this spacious retreat offers multiple levels of living spaces including an open bunk room and semi-detached in-law suite for the perfect balance of group entertainment and guest privacy. Spread out on the raised, wraparound deck or enjoy al fresco dining and shady lounging on the ground-floor patio. Guests in the upper bedroom will enjoy canal views from a private balcony or lounge in the spacious loft.

The main floor features a bright, open layout with contemporary design and furnishings. The kitchen is equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances and gorgeous, custom counters providing plenty of space for the home chef to flex their muscles. The island prep station doubles as a dining counter with seating for four. Leather sofas and a smart TV in the living room provide a comfortable place to relax and unwind inside. Nice beach house!

Clean, great kitchen, comfortable beds. Plenty of room inside & outside, though a dining room table would have been nice with 8 people. Plenty of towels, nice bathrooms.Short walk or drive to beach, 5-minute drive to a decent little grocery mart. Easy check-in, excellent communication with owner. We enjoyed our stay!

First day the house was a mess.Pieces of sheet rock and insulation was all over the floor and under the bed. I called the property management and it was quickly cleaned up.Sheet rock and insulation was stacked at the end of the driveway and wind blown through out the front yard, all three days. Not a good trip.

A few days at the beach

Before my husband and I get busy with work for the summer we decided to get away for a few days. We loved the accommodations here at the Blue Whale. Close enough to town for anything we needed yet far enough away. The house upon arrival was very clean, linens were clean and set up very nice. One word to sum it up is perfect! Thanks for sharing your home with us!Hope to be back soon!

Our first family vacation! A great time was had by all. The beds were so comfortable and the house was spacious and well equipped. Definitely looking forward to doing this again!

Terrible experience house collapsed

Terrible experience the ceiling of the first floor literally collapsed and I had to cancel my event. Vrbo is not responding as they promised.

The property owner was so kind and the quaint but spacious cabin was clean and well stocked! We didn't want to leave but unfortunately, vacations can't last forever. Luckily, the memories we made there will!

It was perfect for what we needed it for other than the lights on the bottom units shined right inside and it really needs to be updated. The Shower head downstairs didn’t work. The cleanliness of the home was ok but it’s very outdated and doesn’t really look like the pics

Jared’s Galveston Beach House

Fun stay in Galveston, not too far away from Jamaica Beach. However it is about a 20 to 30 minute drive into town But worth the stay if you’re willing to drive

great for my family!

My family and I came down for the week and stayed here, it’s pretty close to everything and really quiet neighborhood. I loved the porch and swing and the bedrooms were nice. Only thing you should look out for is when it storms, sometimes the door leaks, but other than that it wasn’t a huge issue and I loved everything else about it.
