We loved the place, location and privacy.

We were very pleased with our stay and hope to book here again next year. The homeowner had all the amenities one would need to make staying here easy. We were able to cook and make coffee and that goes a long way when you’re away from home.

This property was great with everything that you would need for a getaway. It is far enough away from the noise, but convenient to everything. Denise was easy to communicate with and very accommodating! Highly recommend!

Fun Spring Break Stay

The property was clean, affordable, and not too far from the beach! There was lots to do, if you are ever confused on what to do, Denise provides a nice little booklet of fun things to do while in the area! Everything you need is either a short walk/drive away, and Denise makes sure to check in and see that you’re enjoying your stay!

Great Getaway

Comfort and easy living

I have stayed ay this property several times now and have never been disappointed with my stay in any way, shape or form. Denise is the most hands on host you can meet and is always there for you during your stay if need be. She is so sweet and so helpful and so thoughtful. She is going to make sure your stay is one you will remember. We always look forward to another visit at her cozy and comfortable oasis.

What can I say about Denise and her property. I can only say good things about her and the property she owns. She is very sweet, very thoughtful and always available if you need her. Perfect weekend stay

We enjoyed our stay here. Denise was welcoming and helpful from before the booking through the after we checked out. We were able to let down and relax. Her home was charming and comfortable. There was ample utensils for cooking etc. The neighborhood was quiet and we had no disruptions in sleep or relaxing during the day. We were close to the Seawall and to downtown. I think the furthest we drove was about 15 minutes and that was to another island to see the naval ship. We loved the property and Denise. We plan to come back when we are in Galveston again.

Great little rental

Denise's rental was actually a bit more attractive in person than the photos indicate. She was very responsive and hospitable, checking in to see if everything was ok. We enjoyed our brief stay and found it more than adequate for the two of us for a couple days in Galveston. She has done a great job making the space above a garage very liveable. Our only recommendation would be an upgrade to the flooring and additional towel racks in the bathroom. All in all, we enjoyed our brief stay at Denise's rental.

Comfortable atmosphere for a mental reset

This place was perfect for two looking for quiet and a break from life. We kept Denise in the loop where we were throughout the travel down to Galveston to when we arrived. Place was super clean and total beach vibes. Bed was comfortable, normally don’t sleep well away from home but definitely did here. It had everything you could possibly need there for you to get started. Denise checked in with us to make sure things were good and if anything was needed. Great area and neighborhood. Close to everything. Will for sure come back here again. Who wants to mess with hotels these days when you have your own space and can lay up watch Friends at midnight from the bed. We loved it!
