Wonderful time!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The host was extremely easy to communicate with during our time, and the property had everything we could possibly need. My kids really enjoyed the games and old school Nintendo along with the fun bunk room. The location is perfect too. We will definitely be back again!

Great property and location!

Location is perfect with great views from both balconies! The condo is very clean and well stocked with plenty of beach gear. Excellent communication with host and simple check in process. We will absolutely stay here again!

Spring Break

We enjoyed our spring break stay at the quiet, East Island Oasis which was a perfect distance from the busyness of downtown! We appreciated the amenities especially the private beach access and pickleball courts!

Don’t Worry About a Thing!

Just bring your clothes and everything else is there to enjoy! Convenience of the walk out to uncrowded beach made our trip. Gail is very responsive and even stopped by in person to help me find some things in the place! Turtles around town were very fun to see.

Great Location

I loved the condo and highly recommend it. The location was perfect for beach-lovers. The condo was well stocked with all the necessary items, the bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was wonderful.

Great location

It was so great being a short walk away from the beach. Our family loved being in a more secluded area. We also had a good time playing in the pool and doing some pickleball/basketball. Everything was a short drive away that we needed. We highly recommend!

Breakfast with the Waves

This was our second time here, and it was just as perfect as our first stay. My wife, our 2 year old son, and I just felt at home. The location can’t be beat. The condo is exactly what we needed, and we can’t wait to book it again next year!

Nice get away

Community with property manager was so open and easy, like talking to an old friend. Enjoyed the stay in a clean quiet place with excellent view and amenities. Older property that still gets five stars!

Relaxing Trip!

We had stayed in this unit previously for a short weekend trip but opted for a longer getaway this time! Would definitely book again for any length of stay. Great amenities, comfortable bed, love that there is a dehumidifier in the unit. Also love being able to play the classic Nintendo games as well as the option for regular cable tv in addition to streaming.

Spring Break Getaway

This condo was perfect for our getaway. When we walked in we noticed how clean and fresh it was. It had everything needed for our stay. Our host was the best. She made sure everything was taken care of before we arrived which made checking in a breeze. If available we will stay here again in the future.

Amazing & Family Friendly!!!

This is a great stay especially for family and young kids! My 1.5 year old son had plenty of toys to play with in the room and the beach was within walking distance. The games in the first floor were also really fun (bocce ball, pickleball, basketball, pool) and we were close to other fun museums and attractions in Galveston. 100% recommend!

Relaxing Beach Views

My daughter and I had a great stay. Very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Perfect views of the beach. Two balconies. Off the living area had two tall chairs and off main bedroom had two rocking chairs. Quiet (no noise from neighbors). Didn’t use pool but looked clean. Short walk to beach which was not crowded. Definitely would stay here again. Gail the host was absolutely fantastic.

Sweet surprise

This was our first trip to Galveston and it did not disappoint! We loved the location on the private beach. The staff were so friendly that we felt at home right away. We appreciated the security and all of the activities on site. The condo was the perfect size with every need met. The hosts were phenomenal to work with. We also thoroughly enjoyed the town. Great food, fun to be had and laid back. Everything we didn’t know it would be and everything we loved!

Relaxing mini-vacation, perfect location.

My husband and I escaped to Galveston for a small mini-vacation. We’d stayed at the Islander East before but not this unit. We selected it based off the reviews and photos and were not disappointed. Very comfortable and well stocked condo. I especially loved the Nintendo unit and available games, entertainment options. The upgraded shower was great. Also appreciated the dehumidifier unit for the damp beach air. My only issue was the short toilet and my tall husband had some trouble so just fair warning to those with above average height but it was more amusing than anything else. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay!

I’ve rented over 30 different VRBO’s..this is one of the top ones for me. Everything was clean, well organized & offered a lot of extras. Bed was very comfortable..pillows needed more variety. While there was no place in the closet to hang clothes (lots of fun & practical items stored in there) there were plenty of drawers. Loved the dehumidifier. The a/c worked great & the shower had plenty of water pressure! The Nintendo console was a really fun blast from the past, too. While the cost was a bit high, the included extras (beach chairs, TV subscriptions, etc) and peacefulness of the unit made it worth while. Also, the check in desk was very friendly & helpful with local info. Best restaurant we tried was BLVD Seafood. Definitely recommend staying in this unit!!

President's Day Weekend trip

Our family (2 adults, 2 pre-teen children) stayed at the rental over president's day weekend. We found the listing to be just as promised. Kitchen - small but functional for making quick meals. Enough pots and pans to get you by. No traditional oven, so don't plan on frozen pizza. Fridge isn't full sized, but we had plenty of room for our 4 day stay. Bathroom - plenty of towels and hotel type soaps. Only negative, the toilet is really low! Bedrooms - king size bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Kids were comfortable in the bunk beds. Didn't use the sofa sleeper. Pool - We were the only ones in the pool for our entire stay, now that probably has more to do with the weather than anything. Pool was heated to 85 degrees and felt great after coming out of the 60 degree gulf water! Staff - the staff for the condo could not have been more friendly and welcoming. They were quick to offer assistance and more than happy to recommend attractions on the island. There was a short term power outage (about an hour) during our stay likely brought on by some strong winds. Staff got us key to get into the stairway so we could get back up to our condo. Our host, Gail, checked in on us upon arrival and on day 2 to make sure everything was okay. She responded to messages in short order and was very helpful. It was great to walk from the condo to the beach without parking or crossing the busy road! Quiet end of Seawall Blvd was exactly what we wanted, and received!

Perfect Escape for Young Family of Four

This rental clearly caters to families, with plenty of toys, activities, rounded tables, and very little in the way of glass furniture/ornaments. There was a pack-n-Play in the unit, it had a mattress and linens, and the three tiered bunk bed with trundle is an awesome touch for the kids' room. King sized bed in the master was perfectly comfortable with a mattress topper, and the windows were armed with some serious floor to ceiling blackout shades - just got to make sure you overlap them where they part and you'll sleep through the most intense sunrises if your kid kept you up all night, lol (yes, we tested this). The kitchen is small, but surprisingly functional - they have lots of different pots and pans, utensils, both in porcelain and plastic for the kids. Reminds me of an RV we owned for size reference, we set a one person in the kitchen at a time rule. Check out the fridge size before you do your grocery run, buy half gallon sizes or less to maximize. No ice maker, you're going to want a couple of coolers if that's important to you. It got below freezing for us, but they supplied a space heater and it was the perfect thing. The host is incredibly responsive. Things I wish I had brought: Sound machine for kids' room. Something soft for the floor for the infant. Swiffer to clean the floor constantly (sand! There is a broom, I'd just prefer it). This was an extremely pleasant and peaceful visit to Galveston, we really enjoyed the unit and would recommend it.
