    My family and I are lucky enough to live on this amazing island. We are here to help at anytime you may need assistance during your stay.

    While staying at `The White House` you are a 5-10 min walk to Post Office St. where you my get an amazing coffee and treat from the famous `MOD`coffee shop. You may also treat yourself to lunch or dinner at the 6 amazing locally owned restaurants on Post Office. After dinner don`t forget about walking to Hey Mickeys for a scoop of ice cream. You are also in safe walking distance to the nightlife on the Galveston Historic Strand.

    Walking is best since you are close to everything!

Super White House

“The White House” is a grand house that is both antique and modern. The rich wood floors, high ceilings coupled with extremely comfortable furniture and appliances makes for a extraordinary stay. The property owners are very responsive to questions and access to the house is easy. The property is located just a few blocks from the Strand and nestled in the middle of several eateries. I highly recommend The White House in Galveston.

Great house; great host

We were in Galveston for my daughter’s wedding. We were a party of 10! The White House was not only absolutely gorgeous but was a mile from the church where the wedding took place and about a half mile from the reception venue. Need I say this was perfect for us. Emily answered what few questions I had ahead of time and responded quickly. The house had everything we needed plus! I really can’t say enough about it. (Great kitchen and dining area!) I don’t know that I will need a house that size in Galveston again but if you do…I highly recommend. However I do know Emily has some smaller places nearby and I will definitely consider those in the future!

Perfect stay for our wedding party!

Absolutely LOVED this gorgeous house. Perfect place for our family to spend the weekend getting ready for our daughter’s wedding. Had all the modern amenities wrapped in a beautiful historical home. Amazing place to take pictures too! Hoping our photographer got some good ones of the bride.
