Galveston Casa de las Palmas - Central to Everything Galveston has to Offer

  • Welcome to our Galveston vacation home. The Casa del Palmas is located in the center of the Island, 1 mile from the beach, 1.5 miles from cruise ports and 2 miles from the Historic Strand.

    The upper level features two spacious bedrooms each with king size beds and Tempur-Pedic mattresses and two roll-away twin beds. There are two luxurious bathrooms that include a Jacuzzi tub, pedestal tub, and walk-in rainfall shower. The kitchen is designed for cooking with a large gas stove, dual ovens and plenty of space.

    The lower level provides a second living space with a complete kitchen and family room. The lower-level sleeping accommodations include 1 queen, 2 fulls and 1 twin bed (the latter three located in two spaces open to the hallway; separated by a half wall. Please see photos for images of this setup). Please note: The lower-level ceiling height is 6' 4" with a few beams that are 5' 9".

    The home accommodates up to 13 people in total. The full-size kitchen and large dining table provides space for the whole family. We hope you enjoy your time in Galveston!

In town for work stayed for five weeks with no issue. LOTS of space almost like 2 separate houses with 2 kitchens . Clean with nice responsive host. Only complaint is the location is not so nice . Not a problem for us but might make some people uncomfortable.

Great house, would definitely rent again. Acommodated everyone comfortably. Love the shower in the master bedroom. The inside stairs to bottom floor is kinda dangerous. Didn't care for the single driveway. But definitely a great house and great management.

Great, Big house

Excellent property with tons of room. The house is quite large and provides a lot of sleeping area as well as just generally tons of room. The house is very well appointed with tons of bathrooms as well as the master bathroom is absolutely beautiful.The house is well off the seawall which we understood but for some the area may be a little unnerving. Its not in a great area but we never had any issues and never felt unsafe. Very convenient store and gas station across the street. Overall, our stay was excellent, the house is absolutely perfect, the only minor "issue" is location but that would not stop us for booking this home again.

Room for a crowd

The property had 2 large rooms in the upstairs portion with a bath for each room. There were many rooms and bathrooms downstairs with living area, laundry room and kitchen area. we did not need the use of the downstairs area for our trip. The House was clean and all the amenities were working appropriately. The weather did not require any extreme heating or cooling and seemed to be quite comfortable. If we ever need a large group residence, this will be one that we would consider again.

Awesome House

We had a great time! My kids loved the video arcades that’s a great way of keeping them entertained. We enjoyed the house just wish it had oven mittens for the trays when using the oven. Lawn services woke us up early in the morning wish they would of given us a notice our kids got scared they just entered the property with no knowledge of them being there… Beach is near by and close to other stores!! I would definitely book again in the future!

Very Roomy

Wonderful place to stay for a Big family or 2 families. Two full living and kitchens in this house. And Victoria is super good about getting back with you. This place is not for anyone that can't do steps. But the nice thing is if you don't want to climb the steps the bottom part of the house has access to the outside so you would not have to worry about the steps. We had 8 people and we had one free bed. You do need to bring seasonings and hand towels. If you plan on cooking. There were No beach toys or chairs at this house. No boogie board. I know some places we have stayed have had all of this. That was the only disappointment my family had. But like I said if you have 8-12 people this is your house. The porch on the upstairs was a lot of fun to sit and talk while my son grilled.

Galveston summer trip

We Loved this Beautiful house with very comfortable beds & plenty of bathrooms for Everyone! Perfect for after going to the beach all day then coming back to get ready to go out for dinner! So much room to bring everyone comfortably. We had nine in our group. AC worked great for the humidity of Galveston, nice & cold in the whole house! The rolled ice cream walking distance, 1 block, was Amazing at Coldray! We had such a great time here that we ended up extending our stay 2 more nights, total of 9 days! The owner made that SUPER easy & let us check in early. Victoria was so easy to get ahold of for anything. Nice high wood fenced back yard. We would definitely stay here again! The house was a little bit old and set up a little wierd. Only because you had to go thru the whole bottom floor to get to the indoor stairs which were very narrow. We brought a couple of tvs for the kids only 2 tvs in the house, upper & lower living rooms. There was a couple of homeless people that would hang out on corner of bricks in front by street from time to time. But they were fine never bothered any of us! Overall a GREAT experience Beautiful house, city, Great restaurants & Great beaches, only about a mile or two to the beach & Pleasure Pier! Can't wait to go back!!!
