  • NEWLY RENOVATED – CONTEMPORARY 1/1 CONDO – BALCONY FACING OCEAN & POOL VIEWS A truly exceptional vacation experience awaits you at the Galvestonian, located on the East Beach of Galveston. The Galvestonian offers all the luxuries and amenities expected in hotel suites in a first class resort setting. This newly renovated, upscale, contemporary, one bedroom condo with a balcony is located perfectly on the 5th floor. It offers stunning views of the beach and the large landscaped pool & spa. The kitchen features updated counters, a gorgeous tile backsplash with top of the line electric appliances, including a convection oven. Nice cookware will inspire you to create gourmet meals. The floors throughout the condo are a lovely laminate wood with ocean-foam colored walls. The condo sleeps 2 people: a split king, adjustable bed in the master bedroom. (There is also a full size hide-a-bed sofa in the living room). There are two flat screen TVs located in the bedroom and the living area (Smart TV) with a DVD player. The beach, pool, hot tub, workout facility and tennis courts are simply an elevator ride away! The Galvestonian offers an array of amenities: Complementary beach/pool towels.The pool and jacuzzi hot tub are heated for year round enjoyment. Beachside picnic area with tables and BBQ pits are available with a front desk reservation. Exercise room includes full range of workout equipment Two tennis courts are available with a front desk reservation. Also additional amenities can be purchased directly from the Galvestonian; beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, and more. This one bedroom condo is very comfortable and peaceful. Amazing view!

We had a wonderful stay at the condo. This property type was a new one for us and so was the east end of the island. The view was amazing, had wonderful morning coffees on the balcony and great walks on the beach, which was very easy to access. The condo was well supplied, and exactly what we needed.

Loved staying in this Ocean Front condo! It did not disappoint! Great view overlooking the pool & Ocean as well as easy access to the beach. This beautiful condo had all the amenities, was well taken care of & extremely clean. The host was amazing & very helpful. The front desk was very friendly & accommodating. I highly recommend staying here for your next beach getaway!

Staff was excellent. Room wonderful. Bed has a pad that needs to be addressed. It folds up with you. Not comfortable at all. Other than that it’s always nice to stay at your properties.

Gulf Coast Condo

Property is very well maintained with beach front access and great view of the gulf from the balcony. Listing was very clean, smartly decorated for the small size of the condo. Defininately at two person only accomodation. Condos are somewhat outdated but well maintained. Lots of rules and the property staff is not attentive to open infractions though! Overall, one of the better places we have ever stayed in Galveston. Private feeling beach that is not crowded at all...

Nice place for the weekend....But

Lobby and staff were very pleasant. Condo was nice but really outdated. Shower door took some muscles to open and close. Shower needs to be updated really bad. Door knob to master fell off when trying to get out of room. Would recommend putting shades in the living area to block early sunlight. Other than that, I would recommend staying there. Didnt use the pool or facilities, so cannot comment on that.

Great location and nice condo

The condo is very clean and generally well kept. Location is great. Wonderful views and easy drive to restaurants. Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Minor quibbles: Keurig was not as pictured, and the one on hand did not work properly. I had to hold it shut with both hands to make sure the water went through the pod. Also, if you plan to enjoy some wine, bring your own corkscrew. The one in the condo is pretty useless. Finally, I could not get the DW to start. The lights came on, but nothing happened when I pressed start and closed the door. Ended up hand washing the dishes, which actually was ok since we only used a few things. Again, these are all minor annoyances.

Tight quarters but just enough room

This was our first visit. We usually stay at the San Luis but wanted to try something different. For context, we are both 69. We absolutely loved the location and the facility was very nice. We were guests from Monday to Saturday. Our goal was to get in a lot of beach time and Mother Nature cooperated with beautiful sunny days each day. Our only issue, and it turned out to be a big one, is that we are too old and out of shape to pull the free property supplied Beach wagons loaded with our stuff across the sand. We ended up pulling it ourselves, but frankly, we got dangerously overheated and almost stroked out 😳 The last day we just couldn’t do it and got a young man from the group next to us to pull our wagon up to the condo. We tried to get somebody from the condo to do it and offered to pay, but nobody was available. So the lesson is, rent the umbrellas and chairs and travel light 😉. Or bring your own muscle 😊. Overall, beautiful, well maintained facility and great location. We plan on coming back.

Anniversary Escape

The room and view were immaculate, at the last minute we decided to add two days to our trip and there were no issues. The only reason we did not give 5 stars had nothing to do with the owner Trixie, however the condo was having lots of issues. We arrived on Tuesday the 17th and unloaded our luggage. The parking by the entry was under Renovation and blocked off. So we parked below in covered parking which would be great however the service elevator was out of order, and stairs had to be used to get to the lobby. My wife having just had surgery can’t climb stairs so I would go down stairs to get the car and drive up the ramp to get my wife at the lobby door. The condo has 3 elevators but only one was operational the entire visit. The lobby level parking lot was finally finished Sunday the 22nd. The other issue was that one of the elevators that did not work was the only one that went to ground level so a pretty good flight of stairs by the pool was the only access to the beach. No handicap access. The painters were painting the exterior and up and down outside windows on scaffolding but I understand the property has to be maintained.we will go back but we know what questions to ask prior.

Galveston property

Great location on east beach area away from the busy tourist seawall area. A great place for adults to stay and play without all the tourists. We frequent Galveston several times a year and stayed in this property twice. It’s almost like staying at a private resort but there is no restaurant on property which is not an issue if you know your way around Galveston.

The condo was great with very comfortable bed. All the amenities you could ask for with the exception of a washer/dryer but they do have one in the bldg for guests. We were told we were very fortunate to be there at a time when the water was beautiful and blue. All in all we had a great first time visit to Galveston.
