there was a stairway to upstairs that didnt have a door so we couldnt make sure someone could not come downstairs in middle of night. We did not feel safe. We were told not to dead bolt front door. And there was pictures of it being a haunted house on the wall that we were not told about.

We had a great stay in Galveston. The property was very historic and authentic down to the 1920’s gas heater in the living room. For the price of one of the old hotels you can get an entire house within walking distance from the pier and the strand. Highly recommended.

The property was very nice and had a very unique & quaint feel to it. The location was perfect in getting to the strip and a majority of the food spots. I will say that the a/c was not great, so be mindful if you're going rent in the summer time. Other than that it was extremely clean and accommodating to my family and I. Would definitely recommend it for a quick getaway and to experience Galveston.
