Shore to Please is a charming family-friendly home by the sea that can accommodate up to 7 guests. This fun year-round retreat guarantees a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the touristy east end of the island. With beach access just one minute away, you can hop on the available golf cart rental ($50 per stay) for a quick and easy ride to the sand and surf. Experience this beautifully landscaped, 100% fully furnished rental, with each room thoughtfully themed for your island oasis getaway.

This vacation home includes dishes, utensils, glassware, two grills, two refrigerators, Keurig coffee maker, bottled water and plenty of outdoor seating for everyone. The elevator is especially helpful for luggage, coolers, or groceries. Plus, an outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off after a fun-filled beach day. A beach house isn’t complete without a full-sized washer and dryer, and this one also features a garage to store motorcycles or family bicycles during your stay.

Envision yourself in a rocking chair or porch swing overlooking the balcony enjoying an ice cold beverage and year-round sea breeze after a day of fishing. Did we mention the private boat ramp and fishing pier? FYI, some of the best fishing on the Island is found on the west side! overall decent place to stay better than a hotel.a storm just came thru so we ran into a few inconveniances but we made the most of it and owner communication was good and easy to navigate resolutions with.

Wonderful place!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home had everything we needed for our stay. The golf cart and lift were a welcome bonus, and the house is very close to the beach and fishing in the neighborhood. Definitely a place we would rent again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

the paint on the door jams need to be painted. too much scratches, etc. Needs a rug in the hallway. Needs new washclothes and towels. This is a great house and location. Bring your own towels and washclothes. Thank you!!!

Great location and amenities. 1 private bedroom (queen bed) and 1 shared bedroom (king and twin bed combo). The golf cart was a great addition. Would definitely go back again!

We loved the property, especially the golf cart. The owners were very helpful and walked me through operating the cart. The beach is so close and there is a nice restaurant in the neighborhood. We used the lift to transport the luggage.

Spring Galveston Getaway

Location very good, beach access directly at end of road. The cargo lift was great for getting luggage and grocery items up and down, especially for older people. A few things need a little maintenance, but I have found that to be true of any rental I have been in. The beds were the most comfortable compared to the other rentals we have used. My friend and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Loving Shore to Please

Shore to Please is a perfect name for this gem of a beach house! Located very close to a beach that does not allow driving on the beach, perfect for little ones. The home itself it’s designed so well we never felt crowded and had everything we needed in it. The addition of the elevator for hauling stuff upstairs was awesome. Thank you to the host for sharing the golf cart with guests! The host is very kind and extremely helpful. I highly recommend a stay in this lovely beach house!!!

Awesome Location

Everything was great. Michael even let us check in early which was super cool. Just note that the 3rd bedroom isn't a separate bedroom. It's attached to the main bedroom without a door. It'd be great for kiddos though.

Great time!

This house was perfect! It was further out from Galveston than I realized but the beach was almost private! It was super clean and even had 2 menus to some restaurants close by! The golf cart was a nice addition and we loved taking it for a ride! We needed to use the lift and that was so convenient and needed for someone who couldn’t walk! Michael was so patient with all our questions and answered them quickly. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back for another trip!!

The house was the perfect size for our family. I liked being out of the craziness of Galveston “city”. My only gripe is that I had no idea the 3rd bedroom was attached to the master without a door. That was a surprise and disappointment! The golf cart was a great amenity and the closeness of the beach access. It’s a super cute neighborhood too!

Great Beach Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The golf cart was a special plus that the kids loved. The beach is literally across the main road. The elevator- SUCH a plus! The only issue we had is the room with the twin bed is open to the room with the king bed. There is no door separating the rooms. But we made due. Also the backyard fenced area had a section that was down- likely due to Hurricane Beryl, but made it a little more difficult with the dog. It was clean, cozy and we had a great time! Thanks!

Perfect Little Getaway

We found the property online and communicated with Michael prior to ever booking... his promptness and professionalism were above and beyond throughout the entire experience! The location and neighborhood were great for our dog-friendly family and the golf cart and outdoor elevator/lift were an added bonus. The house is a bit dated, but the furniture was comfortable and decor was perfect for a beach house! The kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking and there were games and puzzles to enjoy. We really appreciated the fenced yard and gated access points near the outdoor shower and at the top and bottom of the stairs for our dogs. If you plan to be outdoors near dawn or after dusk, don't forget mosquito spray! We hope to make this a yearly trip after this stay!

We really enjoyed but there was no sheets for couch, or any extra sheets at all, just blankets... also the elevator was not running so it should be tested when cleaning to make sure it works.. No big pots with lids. Ice box in garage was not working and it looked like it hasn't worked for a while.. We loved having the Golf Cart!! Overall it was good and we really enjoyed.. I didn't want to come home!! lol

Cute, small house. Good for short stay, but issues

There is much to like. It’s close to the beach, nestled in a bustling community, with very popular restaurant and bar a four-minute drive away. The beach is across a busy highway. House is not on beachside. Seawall and town is 17 miles away. Plan accordingly. The living space is small - apartment-sized. Two bedrooms, with a tiny connecting room to the master. No tv in any room except the living room, if that matters to you. Wouldn’t recommend more than 4 adults max. 3 was tight. No bottled water, as listing said. Water Dispenser in fridge almost empty. The tiny, connecting room, as others said, does not have a door, but bed is discreetly behind a wall. The twin-sized day bed in it is appropriate for a child, not an adult. The golf cart is a nice perk, but not strictly necessary, since there is a small parking lot at beach access with plenty of room to park a car. But fun! We stayed only one night, and it was perfectly fine for such a short stay. Overall, enjoyed it. However.. the house had a strong, musty/moldy odor when we l entered and didn’t go away. But it was clean. There was no hot water, to speak of. It was lukewarm at best and didn’t last. Didn’t contact the host about it, since we stayed such a short time. I could not get shower attachment in tub/bath combo to work. The smoke alarm in the master bedroom was dismantled, left on top of the dresser, with wires dangling from the ceiling. With more care for these details, I’d give it a higher score.
