Dear potential guests. We thank you for looking at our wonderful condo. If you would do us a favor, please read all of the information listed here. We have a list of potential fees you may encounter when booking. Thank you for your time.

This condominium is the perfect getaway for couples or fun with the family! Amenities include a refreshing heated swimming pool w/ spa, a great ocean view, and walking distance to restaurants & shops. Lovely 1/1 condominium sleeps 4 people comfortably with queen size bed in the master bedroom, alcove has a twin bed in the hallway and a full-size futon in the living room. We offer a full kitchen with a stove and oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and small appliances. Cable TV. Central air/ heat. This unit has a Gulf and swimming pool view from the balcony, and covered parking is available for your use on the main floor. There is an elevator for your convenience.

All bed linens, bathroom towels, pots, pans, utensils, glasses, and plates are also provided for your convenience.

Enjoy the balcony for the best view of the pool, the Seawall, and the ocean. Don't miss the many pelicans that fly over!

Possible fees each will be charged at the time of booking or just after.
Nightly rental fee
State and City Hotel Taxes of 15% Total. VRBO collects both as a separate
charge on your quote.
A cleaning fee of $60 for your stay
A VRBO service fee. This is a percentage of your rental fee set by HomeAway.
A resort fee of $35 paid when checking in for use of the pools and the Wifi and Parking.
A refundable deposit of $150. This is a hold placed on your credit card and it is released 14 days after you depart unless we have to claim damages. You will not really notice it in your statement.

The Victorian residential complex is central to everything on the Island, the West and East side beaches, Fishing piers, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Moody Gardens, the new Historical Pleasure Pier, The Strand, and all the shopping districts.

A new rule for the complex in 2017 from the management team. When you arrive to check-in, you will now be asked to pay a fee of $35 plus tax. This is to receive the parking pass, gate codes for the pools, and the WiFI password. We have actually lowered our nightly rate some to counter this cost they have imposed on your visit. Sorry about that.

Cancellation/Refund policy - Half of the rental fees are required to rent the condo. The final amount of the rental fees is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. If you must cancel, you must do so prior to the 2 weeks to get a refund.

During Hurricane Season, refunds are only granted if there is a hurricane of a category 1 or higher in the Gulf of Mexico headed to Galveston.

When booking the condo, you will need to supply a picture of your driver's license for the complex. Also a description of your vehicle and license plate number. This is for security purposes and also to obtain the pool gate codes and WiFi password. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Upon departure please lock the front door and put the key back in the lock-box. Place all used towels and sheets in the shower. Start the dishwasher. .
Set the a/c to 80, leave the ceiling fans on low, and turn off the lights, please
Take all trash and place it in the garbage shoot at the south end of the hall.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great Stay at a Fantastic Value!

Fantastic location to a great beach with near by shops, restaurants, bars, and other places to simply stroll and hang out. Clean condo with great amenities and friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice place

The Victorian condos are a wonderful place to stay in Galveston. This is a one Bedroom unit has a view of the adults only pool, which for my stay was very nice. However, the furnishings are quite dated, there were a couple of roaches spotted, and the outdoor furniture could stand to be replaced.

Enjoyed the stay

The unit had everything we needed. Wifi wasn't great but I think the network was busy with it being spring break. I'm not too sure what the cleaning fee is for because the unit was not clean other than the bedding and towels. All in all we had a great time and we are already talking about our next trip, and will be booking the same accommodation.

Wonderful family weekend location!

The condo was cute, as advertised on size and accommodations. It was nice that there were pool toys and boogie boards and lawn chairs provided, that was a pleasant surprise. I would say the furniture, especially the beds and futon could use updating. Just enough room for our family of 5. The condo owner was easily available and helpful all along the way. As far as the property: The front desk was busy when we arrived to check in, and subsequently rushed us through, spoke fast and was annoyed when we asked for more clarification on necessary information. 3-4 different codes to keep up with to navigate the property, which was a hassle. One of the elevators in our building was malfunctioning, the doors only opened as wide as our shoulders. My husband had to manually push it open just for us to get out, injuring his hand. We told the front desk, and it was not resolved during our stay. Pools were nice, hot tub was large and plenty hot, and we always felt like the atmosphere was family friendly.

Pass on this Property - Save Yourself the Trouble

I will keep this as short as possible. Here are the reasons you should NOT book this property: 1) This place was filthy. We found trash and roaches under the bed and couch. The kitchen cabinets were messy and broken inside. There was so much dust caked on the ceiling fans it was raining dust when it was on. The ceilings and decorations had a huge layer of dust. Patio chairs were covered in poop and not usable for sitting outside. As others have mentioned, I don't think it had been cleaned in months until we arrived. The next guests will find it in much better shape because we actually cleaned it. 2) Communications completely stopped the day before we arrived. I mentioned the bugs and dirt and got ZERO response from the property manager. So good luck if you have any issues 3) Bugs - roaches and spiders 4) There were several broken outlets that seemed to have wiring issues. One outlet had wires coming out the side to go to something else. One lamp went on and off through the night randomly. The deadbolt on the front door was hard to lock, so we had to check it every time. We will be requesting a refund for our half day we spent cleaning, the cleaning fee, and the cleaning supplies. Didn't affect the rating, but you should know: Complex is older, elevators were slow, hallways were not cleaned often. But convenient to the beach and quiet during the week.

Location is convenient and apartment was relatively clean and neat. The owner has the thermostat locked so that the temperature cannot be set lower than 72 degrees. We used the small fans that were provided, and even bought extras, but couldn't get cool enough to be completely comfortable. The outside corridors of the building are dark, and a little dingy.The corridors are lined on both sides with iron bar gates, which don't give a very welcoming feel; but the apartment gates cannot be locked, so they also dont provide any security. Overall, the stay was just okay...

The place was nice, it was easy check in and out. The beach and walmart and a few food places are within walking distance. Easy to find, easy to park. Definitely would love to stay again for our next trip to galveston.

You Get What You Pay For

Overall it matches the pictures, and is inexpensive. But the unit was dirty, not well taken care of, and the owner gives detailed instructions on how to lock the door. If you know the locks are an issue to where you have to add it in your check in instructions you should probably just get new locks for ease of mind of guests.

I rated decent, because you are across from the beach, the condo was decent enough. The condo had a weird smell. Seen a roach in the kitchen, hair in shower over drain. Other than that we were not in the condo unless we shower or slept. Oh and my husband accidentally lost the key so we locked ourselves out. We will pay for the $3 key however we need to unless our deposit is kept. We stayed on beach or touring most of the time. It does need some upgrades completed. Better house cleaning. We left how owner asked us to leave it. It does get super cold at night.

Great condo and location

We’ve stayed at the Victorian several times over the years and as always, it was wonderful! The condo was clean and smelled good. The living area is a lot roomier than other condos we’ve stayed in and it has a large balcony. Highly recommended for a getaway!

My daughter and I love to fish and the location of the property is perfect to walk to the piers and beaches. This unit had all the amenities that we needed and was ideal. We will be looking again for this when we come back, thank you!

We got to the condo it was a lot smaller then what it looked like online . I don’t know who the cleaning person is but it was not clean when we got there . But we cleaned it before we left.
