The hotel itself only has 13 rooms, I think. The breakfast is pretty good, the staff are friendly and helpful. The front desk is only staffed a couple of hours during the day, so make sure you get the code to enter the hotel. I had just missed the summer 'peak', so there were only 2 restaurants open within easy walking distance. I only went to the Montecristo Restaurant. The food was good and the staff very friendly. My Visa card wouldn't work when I went to pay, so we worked it out in US dollars. Public transportation is limited and confusing, especially if you don't speak Swedish. But the Troll Hike was a LOT of fun. And I enjoyed the peace and quiet for a couple of days.

Helt ok hotell.

Jag var här för 2 år sedan och då fick jag ett plastkort för att öppna min dörr till rummet. Nu hade de bytt ut kortet med en blipp som fungerade utmärkt. Frukosten var minimal med utbudet var helt ok. Synd bara att tvål saknades i duschen😥

Det var lätt och smidigt att checka in. Rummet var otroligt fint och nyrenoverat. Frukosten var ok. Det var ett ganska smalt utbud. Hade också önskat mer ekologiska produkter. Det som var hotellets stora nackdel var dock avsaknaden av luftkonditionering. Det var ohyggligt varmt och kvavt inne på rummet och i hela byggnaden. Vi öppnade fönstret, men fick då i sin tur in många ovälkomna gäster. Synd på ett annars så fint boende.

Trevligt litet hotell mitt i byn. Rymlig trädgård. Stora rymliga rum med fräsch toalett. Något liten frukost. Lite synd att det inte fanns någon reception men de svarade snabbt när man ringde.

Ett väldigt enkelt hotell.

Inte särskilt mysigt, men du får din säng och din frukost. Sängarna är sköna, frukosten enkel. Boendet är absolut inte prisvärt, men det är det enda hotellet i Gamleby, så det är inte så mycket att välja på :-)

Besök i byn där jag växte upp i syfte att fira jul med föräldrarna i deras boende. Vi är mycket nöjda med allt på hotellet, boende, frukost och service. Stort tack till Tony som var fantastisk gällande frukost och annan service.

Lugnt och gemytligt litet nyrenoverat hotell centralt i mysiga Gamleby. Nära till restauranger, affärer och vattnet. Sköna sängar och fräscht badrum. Lagom frukostutbud med hållbarhetstanke. Vattenkokare på rummet.
