"We had a great stay at TOKYU STAY Hida-Takayama Musubi no Yu. The location is incredible, whether you’re catching the JR or joining a sightseeing bus tour, everything is just steps away. The staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast was really good with plenty of delicious options to start the day. And the onsen? Absolutely wonderful, a perfect way to relax after exploring Takayama. Highly recommend!"

"The rooms were clean, and the staff was very helpful with regard to shopping for groceries and suggesting places to eat. They even had umbrellas to use in case of rain. Great place to stay."

"Room was excellent in size and cleanliness. Staff was also very courteous and helpful most of the time. The dining room staff was outstanding. The one major faux pas was that my misplaced her walking cane somewhere in the hotel during our initial check in. We were staying for four nights but the cane was not found. However, two days later, we received an email indicating they had located the cane. The message did not indicate where the item was located but we were leaving Japan in two days so that notification was of no consequence. I tried to respond to their message but was not able to do so in English, although the message from the hotel was written in both Japanese and English. "
