Cozy Home 10 blocks from Yellowstone Park

3 bedroom, 1 bath, fully equipped kitchen, dinning room, living room, washer & dryer, central heating and cooling WiFi,& direct TV, New mattresses on 3 Queen size beds with memory foam mattress toppers, and on the bunk beds +2 roll a ways. nice hard wood floors, blaze king wood stove, great central location in Gardiner Mt. North entrance to Yellowstone national park. I just added a kiddie highchair it's a portable so it attaches to a chair, we also have a pack and play.
New bathroom tiles, and a new breakfast bar in the dining room, seats 5 people on stools, and 6 at the table and chairs.We have a fenced back yard but that does not stop the animals from stopping by to visit. We have a deck and almost every window gives you a view of the rocky mountains. We have a cushioned swing that the teenagers seem to really love. flower gardens, and a couple of rabbits just waiting to eat what ever I plant.

Avoid ? The location and check-in process were convenient. However, the property would benefit significantly from a thorough decluttering and a deep clean. Upon arrival, some of the crockery and kitchen items did not appear properly cleaned, which made settling in a little uncomfortable. The towels also had a fusty smell, which added to our impression that the property could use more attention to upkeep. In one of the bedrooms, there was visible animal hairs on the sheets, and we also noticed what appeared to be mouse droppings in the oven tray during the stay, which was concerning from a cleanliness and hygiene perspective. The bathroom extract fan was heavily blocked with fluff and dust and had to be cleaned by us in order for it to work properly. There were also rust stains in the bathroom sink and discoloured caulking. Small details throughout the property, such as a calendar still hanging from 2022, made the space feel somewhat neglected and dated. In our view there was so much that needed a remedy we did not notify the host as nothing was an emergency. We washed towels and the crockery etc. Overall, the space has potential, but it would greatly benefit from deep cleaning and general upkeep to improve the guest experience for future occupancy . We left the lodge cleaner than we found it. Having paid a "cleaning fee" on this booking this makes it really sting. In our view it might be better to avoid this listing until it is cleaned and uncluttered.

The house was cozy but allowed us room to spread out. Everything was in working order, clean, and well kept. We were within walking distance to everything in Gardiner. Highly enjoyable stay.

Excellent location

Location was excellent for day trips into Yellowstone being so close to the entrance. Plenty of places to walk just down the street for food, shopping, or just to visit the many shops. We did the white water rafting trip and it was also very close. Would stay again and would recommend. Host is very responsive with any questions you may have.

A stones throw to the park entrance! Perfect little getaway for our family. The home is cozy and comfortable with fun decor from the past! The beds are super comfortable and the wood burning fire place was the cherry on top! Easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, and shops.

Family Vacation in Yellowstone

This property was the perfect way for us to spend several days in Yellowstone. It was so fantastic to be able to spend days in the park and still have a "home" to come to and spend time as a family cooking meals and playing game in the evening. The property was clean and well kept and had everything we needed and then some! Terry was fantastic about communicating whenever I had questions before arriving as well as making sure we knew how to access the property when we arrived. Would absolutely recommend this place for a family looking for a cozy home while exploring the park!

We loved our stay. The house is so close to the North Entrance of Yellowstone. Everything was as the listing said. Beds were comfortable. The fenced in yard was nice. Love the views of the mountains out the windows and from the yard. We has Elk right in the yard daily which was so neat. We definitely recommend this house. Was perfect for our family.

Stayed here with my husband, pup, and extended family. It was a great jumping off point for exploring Yellowstone or the area around it. The house was the perfect size for the 5 of us, and it had everything we could have needed. Our favorite part was watching the elk and deer in the yard at night. Terry was a great host. Would recommend this place!
