Relax on the Yellowstone River with Gorgeous Mountain Views

We welcome you and your family to our piece of mile-high paradise on the banks of the Yellowstone River. If “roughing it” in a cabin, camper, or tent is not your cup of tea, please join us and the amenities of our spacious four bedroom, central air conditioned ranch home. Our home is fully equipped for your stay including plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances, basic pantry staples, dish and laundry soap, and outdoor gas grill.

Magnificent Yellowstone National Park begins on the far bank of the river, across from our home! The entrance to Yellowstone is a quick 5 minute drive to Gardiner, Montana. Enjoy spectacular views of Electric Peak (elevation 10,969 feet) from our family room, dining room, and spacious deck. Listen to the Yellowstone River, the longest dam-free river in the continental United States. Guests can relax or fish from the banks with quick stroll from the backyard down a few easy steps. Our seasonal, backyard animal visitors include elk, deer, bison, bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope, bald eagles, and grizzly bears.

The kitchen is well equipped. The location is a bit out of town which makes it nice and quiet. About 15 min from mammoth visitor center in Yellowstone. Beautiful setting!

What an AMAZING home! It was perfect for our group of four. It was equipped with all the comforts of home. The view of the mountains and animals in the front and backyard were spectacular! Lori was a very gracious host! If you are ever in the Gardiner/North Yellowstone area I would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home.

We loved our stay at Lori’s place! The home was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked! The setting, right on the Yellowstone River, with mountains in the background were so beautiful to wake up to and have coffee in the morning. We also had elk that walked right through the backyard while we were there! Even better was that it was a 5 minute drive to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. I would definitely recommend staying here. You will not regret it!

Great family vacation

The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful! Pictures online did not do justice. There was so much to do in Yellowstone and surrounding areas that were interesting to all the different ages in our group! We had a wonderful week and highly recommend this property.

Perfect home base for Yellowstone

This was the perfect location to see Yellowstone. There was plenty of room for three generations to hang out but have space (two teenagers in tow). Lori and Brian were great with local tips, such as going to Tom Minor Basin to see grizzly bears. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for prepping meals to go and cooking in. I would recommend this location over and over again.

The property was far above our wants and expectations. We had a party of 7 and the home was very well suited to meet all of our needs. The views are amazing. The hostess has thought through anything that you could want or need while visiting. I would recommend to anyone traveling into Gardiner MT!!

We had a great time at this beautiful house. Close to the Yellowstone River, close to the Yellowstone entrance but very peaceful and relaxing. With so many age groups in our party we had a fabulous time! Fish, lay in the hammock, sit on the deck and read. It was all great!

Perfect View

What an amazing view. So close to the river and wildlife. We loved how peaceful it was sitting on the lawn or the deck and listening to nature and looking for wildlife. The home has a lot of storage which is nice for someone who overpacks. Lori is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. She really provides an abundance of provisions and even things normally not provided. We loved our stay and will for sure be back !

That View!!!

We loved our stay at this awesome house on the Yellowstone River! The view from the back deck and down by the river can’t be beat! The house is clean and provided everything that we needed for our stay. The house felt very private and secluded but is only 2 miles from downtown Gardiner and the North entrance to Yellowstone. We loved being greeted by a herd of elk one evening when we returned from exploring Yellowstone, and seeing the bald eagle that flew outside the home down by the river. We were happy that we chose this house as our home base for exploring Yellowstone.

Wow!!!!

This property is better than described. It is just gorgeous and so clean. The house is stocked beyond what I expected. We stay somewhere twice a year and this place tops any place I have ever stayed. Lori was so helpful with ideas for the best restaurant and local places to visit. The views from the sun room to the river are relaxing and beautiful. We used the grill daily and enjoyed visiting and relaxing by the river. The elk in the yard daily were fun to see. This is the perfect place to stay for your trip to Yellowstone and we plan to stay again.

It was magnificent

We were traveling from NC to enjoy Yellowstone with family. It was wonderful to have some items to use that we did not have to buy, for example, detergent. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. We loved watching the elk in the mornings. The hosts were so willing to help us out in many ways that went over expectations! The facility was immaculate!

Amazing place!

This property exceeded our expectations. There were four of us and we had plenty of room and space to spread out. The morning visits from the elk were quite a surprise even though the description mentioned them. They really did show up. Make sure you stop by the house before grocery shopping as there are many staple items provided. Being so close to the Northern entrance to Yellowstone made our daily drives very convenient. I would highly recommend this place!
