This home was the PERFECT location for touring Yellowstone Park! Enjoyed the view and the wildlife. The rooms were clean, and it was so nice to have a bath for each bedroom. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!
The cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. One evening we had some unexpected guests as a herd of about 15 elk grazed outside our front door! Proximity to the park was great. The only negative of the experience was the rough gravel road leading into Gardiner.
Riverbend Cabin was a spectacular start to our Yellowstone vacation. The cabin was extremely well stocked (more than we ever expected), beautifully decorated, and the views were breathtaking! The hosts were wonderful to deal with and always responded promptly. We highly recommend Riverbend Cabin
extremely
The weather was freezing ( -9F) at points but the cabin was warm and cozy - well equipped and perfect for a cold weather adventure. I think they did an excellent job with providing exactly what was required - super clean - friendly - and close to the park. Well done !
It was a nice stay in the house. The house was clean, quiet and safe. We were greeted by the elk in the morning. Gardiner is easy to get to. Thank you for the lovely days
The stay at the cabin was excellent! There was wildlife outside almost every day. Very convenient to Yellowstone. The host was friendly and very responsive. Will definitely be a repeat customer!
Took a quick trip to enjoy the warm fall. The cabin was perfect for our family and a great location. We loved having the river so close. We watched hundreds of elk walk along the river and bighorn sheep just down the road. Private bathrooms for each room worked really well to get everyone ready for the day. We would definitely stay again!
Clean, quiet, comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains and river with the added bonus of elk in the backyard.Convenient to Gardiner and North entrance. Off the beaten path but worth it.Will stay again
The home was cozy, comfortable, peaceful and clean. It is located on the Yellowstone River. It is conveniently located near Yellowstone North Gate. Wildlife was seen at and near the home: Elks and Antelopes.
The home and location were perfect! We would highly recommend staying here.
All the comforts of home in a rural setting. Falling asleep while listening to the river was awesome. Front and back yard was home to park animals daily. Cabin was immaculate and well stocked with anything we needed for our stay. Gardiner was a cute little town with plenty to eat, drink and shop.
We enjoyed our time at the Riverbend Cabin so much! Lachelle was a great host. We enjoyed some much needed family time, relaxing and exploring the beautiful state of Montana! The views were amazing, wildlife sightings everyday (bison, deer, elk, long horn sheep, coyotes), and the feel of the cabin was so homey and very well taken care of. Easy check in/out process. We all agree, this has been our best vacation yet and we look forward to coming back soon!
It was exactly the way it was presented and the check out process was the easiest most laid back experience. Leave the kitchen the way you found it, take your garbage when you leave. No stripping beds, washing towels or cleaning. It has everything you need or want. BBQ, washer and dryer, tv, and nice pots and pans too. You won’t find a better cabin to stay at.
Our cabin was exactly as described. The cleanliness and amenities were outstanding as was the communication with the host.
We had 4 adults and the accommodations suited us perfectly. I especially loved the wildlife grazing and listening to the Yellowstone River while sipping coffee.
Another huge bonus for us was the use of a Crock Pot. We arrived “home” each day to a ready made meal. Easy prep and easy cleanup.
I’ll be sure to recommend the cabin to others interested in visiting Yellowstone!
I cannot say enough great things about this cabin! The views are amazing. If you love animal watching this is the spot! Owner communication is wonderful. Clean. Plenty of room. Loved being on the river and the views! Elk around the cabin every day. Fall colors are gorgeous! Our family made memories for a lifetime. Close to town but quiet and peaceful. Perfect balance. Loved seeing all of the wildlife down the drive and dirt road each day! Would recommend to everyone!
Riverbend Cabin was more than we expected. The cabin was clean, beds super comfortable, and well stocked. The view from the rear porch overlooking Yellowstone River was amazing. You could sit there and listen to the river ans feel so relaxed. We saw animals every day. Mule deer, white tail deer, bunny rabbits and red tail hawks.
It was pretty cold at night...into the teens, but we enjoyed the gas fireplace at night. Bedrooms also have heaters that worked well.
Cabin is literally less than 5 miles from the Yellowstone North Entrance but still provides the peacefulness you want on vacation.
I cant say enough about this cabin and our stay here. I will be back!!!!

We love staying at the cabins in this area and have done so for the past 5 years around New Years Eve.
There is lots of wildlife all around the area, its got a good seclusion feel but yet still close to Gardiner and Yellowstone Park, and close to the Hot Springs. The views are amazing too.
The cabin was cozy, warm, clean, and very comfortable.
This is our first time with this host and the communication was great. :)
I would have given 5 stars but the deposit was super high at $1500 which was about $600 more than the actual cost of renting the cabin and the holding of the deposit was pretty long.
The info for the deposit is in the description and info of the posting which was very helpful so we were prepared for it. :)
Other than that, it is a 5 start experience. :)
We loved our stay in this cozy cabin. We spent 3 nights in June so that we could explore Yellowstone. It took about 15 minutes to get to the Northern entrance to the park, then another 15 minutes to get to Mammoth Hot Springs. It was a pretty ride (with lots of hairpin turns) and we often spotted wildlife.
Pros: The cabin was clean, well stocked and looked just like the pics online. I especially appreciated the addition of kid friendly plates. The beds had a super comfy topper on them. Plenty of bath towels and pool towels in the cabin. Gorgeous view of Yellowstone River out the back. Lachelle was a very responsive host and even allowed us to add an additional night to our original reservation with very short notice.
Cons: it’s about a 12-15 minute drive on an unpaved road to get to any restaurants/grocery
We had to physically remove all trash from the cabin and drive to a collection center. The first time we attempted this, the collection center was closed and we had to come back. They had closed at 4 pm
Cabin has wifi but our personal cell coverage was very spotty.
Overall, a beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location. We enjoyed our stay.
This wonderful cabin presented memories far beyond anything we could have anticipated. It checked off all the major requirements for a special stay. Was it clean upon arrival? Absolutely! Was it stocked with everything we could possibly need? A+ on that account! Did the owner quickly get in touch when we had questions? ALWAYS! It was beautifully decorated and beds/couches and chairs were more than comfortable.
We had intended to spend 5 "nights" here. Like all the other places we have stayed on our western trip, we wanted to get out before sunrise, leave for the day and come back around dusk. But just the initial drive into the cabin's location provided scenery that left me stunned and the repeat drives out and back in did the same. There were always subtle changes in the early morning light and likewise in the evening. Once at the cabin, the first time I walked out onto the back porch, I was amazed again. In the evening, there was an undeniable peace with the sound of the river running below and the occasional elk bugle in the distance. One evening there was enough light to see a small herd of elk moving across the river. Before long that herd was eating grass off the back lawn, about ten yards from the porch. We all watched quietly has the herd moved up from the river and slowly crossed in front of us and eventually out of sight to our right. Certainly, this will never be forgotten by any of us. I would stay HERE again in a heartbeat!
Beautiful scenery , nice cabin, great beds and linens. Everything we needed was there. Kitchen items were nice quality. Great quick communications as needed.
