"What a marvelous bed and breakfast. The apartment was spacious and comfortably fit our family of 5. The views and amenities were superb. "Pros: Die Wohnung war genau wie auf den Bildern. Sie liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet und man ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten am See. Die Gastgeber wohnen unten und sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Auto konnte man auf dem abgeschlossenen Grundstück parken. Einzig eine Sonnenliege auf dem Balkon wäre noch schön gewesen. Wir hatten wirklich einen schönen Urlaub. "Die Anlage ist wirklich schön. Die Wohnung stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage und vor allem der riesige Pool sind toll. In nahen Umgebung gibt es viele Weingüter. Direkt am Gatdasee (15min mit dem Auto) ist es absolut traumhaft. Nur haben uns die Nächte den Urlaub etwas vermiest. Gegenüber kräht der Hahn ab Sonnenaufgang (5:30 Uhr). Kurz danach ist die Straße direkt neben dem Haus gut befahren und sehr laut. Daher konnten wir keine Nacht ausschlafen."

The Garda Village

2/10 Terrible

"The only positive was the location: it is near the shuttle bus and not too far from the center. However, the stay itself was very disappointing and far below what we expected from a 4-star property. The room was advertised with a double bed, but we received two unstable single beds pushed together. The mattresses separated easily, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. Bedding was inadequate: single blankets, no proper blanket covers, and unpleasant smells. Towels and sheets required extra payment, which was not clearly disclosed when booking. Wi-Fi also required an extra charge. The bathroom had visible mold in the shower, broken sink and bidet fixtures, and almost no toiletries except one small hand soap. We reported the problems to reception and were told they would be fixed, but nothing meaningful was resolved during our stay. Overall, cleanliness, comfort, amenities, and service were unacceptable."

"A stunning old hotel right at the end of the peninsula of Sirmione. We had a long weekend in the gorgeous Vivaldi suite. It was spacious, clean and comfortable (except for the incredibly hard pillows!) The staff are lovely and the breakfast is wonderful. The only criticism of the staff would be the owner who delivers the morning coffees. He was pretty rude and didn’t give the impression he was happy to see you. Our stay was over a weekend and we hired a car. That was a mistake - the amount of people in Sirmione is incredible. There were a lot of restrictions around when you can and can’t bring your car into the town over weekends and special events - which we didn’t realise until we arrived! I would stay at this hotel again and enjoyed our stay."

"We had a great stay. Customer service was excellent and the property and the view from it are beautiful. Petro at the front desk and Alberto at the pool both gave us excellent service. Only suggestion would be to add coffee machines in the room but other then that, I would rate the experience a ten out of ten. We would definitely come back again."

"This is a smaller hotel but nice and in a quiet location. The rooms as clean, comfortable beds, just very small in size. We had to put our large luggage on top of the cabinet as there was no space on the floor. The pool is small but clean. Check in was fast and the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night as they were fully booked for the weekend. There is a restaurant right across the street, looks nice, we didn't try it. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and the hotel has plenty of parking around and under the property in the garage."
