"This is a great overnight stay on the way to/from Cape Town. Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Basic but clean and well-equipped. And very warm on cold Karoo nights! Lovely hosts and a great home-style restaurant within easy walking distance. (Have the bobotie served with rice and veg; it’s excellent!)"

"Wayne and his wife were exceptional hosts in all respects. In fact, our stay at Bethulie was the absolute highlights of our drive from George to Durban. We are grateful for all the invaluable wealth of information about the area provided to us by our hosts and the incedibly warm welcome we received at a truly iconic, stately farm house that is over 125 years old. The facilities and room we stayed at are impeccably clean and filled with timeless, classical furnishings which transports one to an era long past. We urge any visitors to this area to make sure you stay at the "White House" in Bethulie. You will not be disappointed."
