  • Our new holiday apartment was built here with great attention to detail. It is furnished in the style of shabby chic and the view of the immediately adjacent spa park makes your stay in our 108-year-old Maria Augusta pension something very special - we are proud and happy with what we have created and look forward to many satisfied guests Guests
    An apartment (29 sqm) with shower and toilet is available to guests in an absolutely central location in the Garmisch district.
    Drinks are available at cost price. Guests arriving by train can be picked up from the train station.

Great location, all we needed was at the property.

Great to have the park right next door - spent time there in the evenings. Apartment was well located and very well set up. All questions were addressed quickly before & during our stay. Would recommend.

Comfortable and friendly

The Old Rose is a clean and tidy and we'll equiped apartment managed by a friendly family. We were greated with a warm welcome and we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The location is close to the centre and shopping area but out on a quiet side street. It was our base camp for various hikes in the region and perfect for that. We can really recommend it. Tipp. A few minutes walk around the corner (turn left down the street) is a bakery - Andreas Hobmeier. They have the best brezels and rolls in town. :-)

Das Appartement "Old Rose" im Herzen von Garmisch ist wunderbar zentral gelegen - Bahnhof, historisches Stadtzentrum, Kurpark, alles in bequemer Laufweite. Das Appartement selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit Sinn fürs Detail dekoriert, so richtig zum Wohlfühlen. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern ist sehr unkompliziert und herzlich. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt!

Kleines Appartement für Kurzaufenthalte

Das Appartement war für unsere Zwecke o.k. Wir haben einen Motorrad-Urlaub gemacht und waren tagsüber unterwegs. Da der Raum nicht so groß ist kann man sich vor Ort fast nur im Bett aufhalten. Die Kleine Küchenzeile ist auch für Schnellgerichte ausreichend, allerdings war der Geschirrvorrat mehr als mager -also keine ausreichenden Teller um die Mahlzeit auch zu essen. Es ist mir unverständlich zumal Geschirr heuzutage nicht teuer ist und in jedem Supermarkt ein Satz günstig erworben werden kann. Schade!

Wunderbare Unterkunft

Wir waren nur drei Nächte Gäste der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und hat alles was man braucht. Der persönliche Checkin und auch die Kommunikation im Vorweg hat super geklappt. Wir sind mit der Bahn angereist um Bergwandern zu gehen, die Lage der Wohnung ist dafür super geeignet. Zudem ist der Kurpark für einen abendlichen Spaziergang direkt um die Ecke.

Sehr schönes Apartment

Dieses kleine Apartment ist sehr schnuckelig eingerichtet und mit allem was man für eine tolle Atmosphäre und gemütliche und ruhige Zeit braucht. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Apartment hat eine kleine Küche, ein Zimmer mit einem schmiedeeisernen, bequemen Doppelbett und ein Badezimmer mit einer ordentlichen Dusche. Die Nähe zum Zentrum und dem Michael-Ende-Kurpark von Garmisch-Partenkirchen ist optimal, so dass es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants direkt um die Ecke gibt. Die Nähe zum Bahnhof und den Stadtbussen ist ebenfalls gut. Die liebenswerte und herzliche Gastgeberin wohnt mit ihrer Familie auch in diesem schönen Anwesen. Wir haben uns im Apartment Old Rose jedenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt und möchten beim nächsten Garmisch-Trip wieder hierhin kommen. Vielen Dank für alles, liebe Frau Bäumer und Familie!

Leider haben wir uns auf die ganzen Bewertungen verlassen und wurden arg enttäuscht. Zunächst das Positive vorab: die Lage ist wirklich genial, aber leider ist die Parkplatzsituation etwas schwierig und wenn man keinen kostenlosen Parkplatz findet (die rar gesägt sind), kostet es einiges. Die Unterkunft war an sich sauber, aber ich verstehe die Bewertungen nicht, die sagen, dass hier super das alte und moderne kombiniert ist. Es ist alles recht „alt“ und das eine oder andere sieht aus, als würde es gleich von der Wand fallen. Nun aber zu dem Punkt, der uns sehr stark gestört hat. Wir sind selber Hundehalter aber das Treppenhaus muss nicht nach nassem Hund riechen und überall Haare auf dem Teppich verteilt sein oder lauter Post und Pakete quer im Treppenhaus verteilt liegen, dass macht keinen guten ersten Eindruck. Weshalb wir sogar eher abgereist sind, lag daran, dass die Wände so hellhörig sind und nebenan ein alter Herr wohnt, der zu bestimmten Uhrzeiten (Schlafenszeiten) im Bad (Fenster zu unserem Schlafraum war abgeklebt) lautstark hustet und den Schleim versucht hat zu lösen und das jeden Abend. Da bekommt man nach einer Zeit einen richtigen Rappel und schläft deshalb sehr bescheiden. Auch das Bett ist leider schon arg abgewohnt. Bei Bewegung kann schon mal das Metall gegen die Wand stoßen. Insgesamt für uns ein teurer Spaß, wenn man dann eher abreist.

Die perfekte Unterkunft

Das Appartement ist wunderschön stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Alte und neue Elemente passen perfekt zusammen. Der Ausblick auf die Zugspitze ist grandios. Die Küche ist neu und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Wohnung war absolut sauber. Es war so gemütlich, dass es manchmal eine Überwindung war rauszugehen.

Liebevoll eingerichtete kleine Ferienwohnung

Unser Aufenthalt in Old Rose hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig, die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben von ihr gute Tipps bezüglich Parken und essen gehen bekommen.

Erstmal verregneten, zum erholen perfekte. Viele Möglichkeiten was zu unternehmen und die Innenstadt hat alles was man brauch um einen schönen Urlaub zu haben. Einziger Minus Punkt, die Kirchenglocken. .. die ganze Nacht und morgens um 6 Uhr richtig.
