"Aurélie was fabulous host, very caring and responsive thank you. The villa is more beautiful than the photos can show, set in lush green gardens and woodland.We were unfortunate to have some of the worst wet weather for our stay which meant we were cooler in the property than we would have been if it was mild. Saying this it didn't detract from our enjoyment of the stay. The villa was immaculately clean with comfortable bedrooms. Great for our large family who enjoyed sitting around the massive kitchen table eating and playing games together. The table tennis tournament was fun too. I can imagine in the summer sitting around the pool you wouldn't have to venture far to have a great stay. "

"This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. If we ever go back to Portugal, we are staying at this ranch again. "

Beyond the food, the design of the hotel itself was stunning. The architecture blends modern elegance with regional character, and the lighting in the hotel is amazing. You can tell Keren is an interior designer. What really set this place apart, though, were the hosts. They were incredibly gracious and generous with their time, offering genuine hospitality and sharing the story of how they built the hotel. As we’re considering a move to Portugal ourselves, their insight into the process — the challenges, the rewards, and the local culture — was incredibly helpful and deeply appreciated. Ziv was always ready with great suggestions and recommendations for the area This is more than just a place to stay. It’s an experience. We left feeling inspired, well-fed, and extremely grateful. We can’t recommend it enough."
