This stay was the most unique stay ive ever been in, it had such a beautiful veiw and everything was very clean. Would recommend anyone who wants a unique experience to stay here!

Auberge de rencontres et d'échanges
Une auberge situé dans une école qui a trouvé une autre vie. C'est un lieu communautaire fort agréable situé dans le Parc Forillon. Donner accès aux activités du Parc Forillon dans la baie de Gaspé avec "Le bout du Monde" qui est la pointe la plus proche vers l'europe.

This is an interesting place put together by community members. It is used by community centre as well as an auberge. When coming especially in the off season make sure you bring your own food or eat before you arrive

I could not stay there as it was sleeping in a big room with other people. Like a hostel. I rented a nice room at a hotel handy to the hostel . I am 72 years old . I could not stay at this place.

hello Merrill, thanks to visited us. to be precise, you booked a bed in our dormitory which is essentially a common bedroom with 10 beds.The price of 29 dollars per night is a good clue of the type a accomadation. You probably did a mistake. next time don't hesitate to call us at the emergency number.If its available we will could give you a nice bedroom.The regular price for a private bedroom is around 75 to 100 dollars/night. We hope your holidays in gaspesie was good.

The private rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable. A chair would have been good in the room so you didn't have to sit on the bed. The kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of implements and space for a number of people to prepare their meal at the same time. The young receptionist who greeted us was very friendly and professional. Great location for exploring the area.

Surprisingly great
This place was better than expected. Spacious and sound proof. Lots of bathrooms too. They make very tasty croissants and chocolate bread for breakfast. Kitchen is big and has everything you need and more.

Bien situé mais malpropre
Auberge bien située car près du parc Forillon et pas très loin de Gaspé. Les règlements étaient un peu compliqués en lien avec la covid mais ça c'est normal. La chambre était correcte mais pas très propres. Les salles de bains communes n'étaient pas très propres non plus. Bref allez y si vous n'êtes pas très regardant sur la propreté.

Not my cup of tea. I prefer our own bathroom and a fridge in the room. Better sound proofing would be nice. I would stay again in a pinch.

J'ai aimée l'emplacement de l'endroit très proche du parc Forillon et de plusieurs attractions. Autre chose a signaler est la propreté de la chambre et des draps. Par contre je n'ai pas aimé le partage de toilettes. J'ai trouvé ça dérangeante et en plus la douche parfois était vraiment sale.

We had a wonderful time staying at this auberge. The staff were so warm and friendly and went out of their way to help. It was wonderful to have the kitchen and common dining room to prepare and eat meals. Also a great way to meet people.

Lors de notre arrivée vers 16h30, notre chambre n'était pas prête malgré le fait que le check-in est à 15h. Comme on doit porter un masque en tout temps, je ne comprends pas trop pourquoi on ne peut pas être plus d'une personne dans la cuisine en même temps (il faut réserver notre tour). De plus, étant donné qu'on paye déjà une bonne somme, je trouve ça exagéré de nous demander de nettoyer la salle de bain après chaque utilisation... Il faisait un peu chaud dans la chambre, malgré le fait qu'on ait gardé la fenêtre ouverte toute la journée nuit, sinon a bien dormi.

Clean and very close to the park (within borders, I believe). Shared bathrooms (showers in women’s bathroom are uncomfortably narrow - use the unisex bathroom). The wifi doesn’t reach your room unless you’re right next to reception (few rooms are). Fridge, microwave, and kitchen available for use. Just so you’re not surprised, neighbour is a cemetery.

Thanks for your comments! We do recognize that we are currently experiencing some issues with our wifi, we will fix this problem during the next days in order to provide a better internet access to all our rooms. However, our cosy living room is still available to chat with nice people (and enjoying good wifi). Regarding the cemetery, we are sorry if our neighbours have caused some noise and disturbances, sometimes they get the party during full moon nights... ;)

Service was amazing! the guys really try to take care of you the best the can. Unfortunatelly, there is neither bathroom nor A/C in the room. So, it gets very uncomfortable at night when temperature starts raising up. As well, sharing the bathroom is not the best scenario, specially during Covid panic. On another note, one side has a nice view with the see in front and a little park that the kids loved. the other side has a not that nice view with a cementery just next to the auberge.

Hi! First thank you very much for your comments! Unfortunately we don't have any A/C in our rooms, but almost all rooms have a ceiling fan to refresh our guest during there stay. Also, we suggest to our guests to simply close the curtains during daytime while they visit the area in order to low the temperature (it helps a lot!). And yes, all our bathrooms are shared bathrooms (we have 7 bathrooms for a total of 12 bedrooms), but our staff work very hard each day to respect the sanitary measures. Personnally I love the view on the cementary side, the neighbors are very quiet and it's always full of blossominf flowers ;)

This is a simple guest house with a room and a comfortable bed. there are shared cooking and dining facilities and shared bathrooms and showers. There is a games room which is a lot of fun. As long as you know what you are getting, this place is a real find.

Hot room!
No A/C or airflow in room. Kept window and door opened except when sleeping to try to get cool outside air into the room, with little effect. Hot all night inside while air was chilly outside. Laundry machine was $5 and left clothes sopping wet. I had to wring out every item before putting in dryer.
