Experience the Great Smoky Mountains from beautiful historic downtown Gatlinburg. The panoramic beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains is for all seasons; majestic mountains, rolling streams, and Gatlinburg's famous city lights will make your visit unforgettable.

Our unit at Oak Square Condominiums has one large bedroom with KING-size bed, and sliding door leading out to a private covered balcony overlooking the outdoor pool.. The fully-equipped kitchen has beautiful cabinets, twi-burner cook surface with , dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker. The living room has a sleepersofa for relaxing while enjoying the woodburning fireplace. Also, this condominium has two flatscreen Cable TVs one with DVD/VCR Combo. The condominium building has two convenient elevators and luggage carts for guest use.

We are located in DOWNTOWN Gatlinburg across the street from the famous aerial tramway that goes to Ober Gatlinburg and minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Walk to anywhere from our location and find wonderful restaurants, endless shopping, the Gatlinburg Aquarium, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and much more! If you do not want to walk, take the popular Gatlinburg Trolley, it stops right at our door and will take you to countless places in Gatlinburg, the National Park, and Pigeon Forge.

Great location

If you want a place to stay that is within walking distance to everything in Gatlinburg this is it. Very cozy and comfortable for two people. This location also has covered parking. The host is amazing and we will definitely plan another stay.

Great Location

My trip was only 2 full days and this was exactly what we were looking for. Right off the main strip, close enough to walk to anything in town. Right next to the National Park which made it extremely easy to get to hiking spots.

A plus condo and host

Our family stayed for a week (2 adults and 2 children) in this condo, it’s exactly what is advertised. It’s clean, convenient and cozy!! We have rented from Mr. Verlon and Ms Judy for the last 4 years and will continue to do so for our annual “Mardi Gras” trip. If you’re looking to stay in downtown gatlinburg, this condo is truly all you’re looking for and the host, Mr Verlon and Ms Judy have always been very easy to reach if you need anything. We would highly recommend this condo!!

This is the perfect place for a couple! Quiet location, 5 minute walk to the strip, fireplace, dishwasher, comfortable bed… everything was perfect! We’ve stayed at other locations on the strip, and this will be our new spot. You can’t beat the price! Book now!

Perfect Birthday weekend

This was the perfect Condo for my wife and I on our birthday weekend. The convenience to walk one block over to downtown was great. No need to fight for parking. The condo had everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. The owners made check in a breeze and were easy to communicate with. This Condo is great for a get away with your spouse. We loved it.

Great location

My family and I had a great stay at this property. The location was great, very close to the main strip. We parked our car and just walked everywhere. We stayed for 3 nights and I honesty have no complaints. The wood burning fireplace was GREAT!! Thats one of the best features of the unit most places don’t have wood burning fireplaces anymore, we brought a couple of bundles of wood from home. there is a market a couple of blocks away that sells wood if you need it. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The unit is not a fancy place and it is a little older but if you are like us and are out and about most of the day I felt like for the location and price it was perfect.

The place is a little dated, but nothing major. Everything was as described. For the price, you're not going to get a better location. Walking distance to anything and everything. If you're not looking to stay in the condo all day and use it more as a place to stay and rest between exploring Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas, this place is going to be exactly what you're looking for.

Near Perfect Location, Amazing Condo

This condo was amazing! As soon as we walked in we were impressed. Everything was well maintained and clean! The bed is a little on the tall size if you’ve got short legs like me and my friend! The couch was supper comfortable to sit on and I imagine would be comfortable to sleep on! Our only gripe was that it wasn’t as close to the main strip as we thought based on the map but it’s in a really great spot if you don’t mind the short walk to the main strip!

Great for our short stay

Overall the property worked great for us! My daughter and I were only in town for two nights and spent the majority of our time out of the condo. Bed was comfy to come back to and property was easy to access. Parking is tight but didn’t have any issues. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the towels in bathroom to slightly larger ones and kitchen towels/wash clothes to more kitchen friendly options. Didn’t feel the microfiber was the best choice here. Communication with owner was perfect l!

Great location!

The unit is just as described and shown in the pictures. Pools were nice, although we were not able to use the outdoor pool at all during our stay because they were waiting on the city to inspect the pool before it could open for the season. The fridge was ok for leftovers but it is just a tiny mini fridge with no freezer. But the fridge and lack of frying pans would be my only complaint. Saw bears every night from the building. Elevators were a nice surprise. Building is very outdated but do not let that scare you away from this unit.

Great Location, Not Good for 2-Bed Parties

Oak Square is an older condo complex right on River Rd. The location is convenient to the parkway and eveything you'd want to do. The complex definitely shows its age but isn't necessarily bad. Having an indoor and outdoor pool was a bonus even though we never made the time to take a dip! Inside, the condo is small but complete. It was clean and had what we needed. I'm sure the fireplace is lovely when it gets a little cooler outside. It's ideal for a couple and the bed was nice and comfortably firm, but I cant recommend parties who need two sleep areas. The sleeper sofa was incredibly loud! It creaked and moaned loudly with every small movement. It was also a bit lumpy. The couch itself was fairly comfortable to sit on. The sofa is also the only real seating, so if youre using the sleeper, you need to strip it and put it up to sit. This would be fine, but the small space means there isnt a good place to put the linens except back in the bedroom closet. YMMV, but we ended up leaving the bed out the whole time because we were busy and didn't really have time to sit in the living area. Overall, good for the value and a nice homebase for a Gatlinburg adventure.
