Great location. The cabin was very cozy at a good location. Breath taking view of the mountains! The staff and amenities were nice but there were a few cobwebs in a few places which made us question the cleanliness of the cabin but overall 5 stars!

Very out dated
The place is very out dated furniture is wore out the hot water barely stays hot enough for one person to use and the lighting throughout the house was very poor the owner needs to spend money back into the house
The property was well maintained but could use some updates. The updates is not necessary in my opinion i just think it would enhance the experience. The reviews are pretty accurate we definitely seen multiple Bears within the first hour of arriving at our cabin, so my advice is follow the rules and don't leave any food out cause they definitely came to visit our van each night we stayed there and left they left prints all over the door handles trying to find food so lock your doors as well.
The drive up the mountain wasnt bad at all but driving a larger vehicle will make u feel a little uneasy if you haven't experienced steep and narrow mountain roads.
Overall great experience no complaints
We really enjoyed our time in the Smoky mountains! This cabin was an amazing location. The view was nice. It was a great get away from all the chaos going on with a coronavirus! The bounds rap solutely gorgeous. The chairs on the decks could use some updating and maybe a rocking chair out there would be really nice. The chairs were a bit rickety. Forewarning when you walk upstairs you can hear the creeks downstairs and it wakes people up when you get up to go to the restroom upstairs. Overall, we had a really good time.

Nightmare before Christmas
Our 2 families chose to spend the week of Christmas here. According to the property manager, though the owner “usually” decorates in past, they elected not to this year. We were spending the week of Christmas, including actual Christmas Day here! “Wood burning” fireplace was actually electric & required extension cord, which we had to purchase. Gave 2 stars for “accurately described” because kitchen was smaller than pics indicate & poorly stocked, missing key items like can opener, cheese grater, bakeware, pot holders, dish towels. Had exactly 11 forks so had to wash silverware after every meal just to have enough. My sister is in property management & commented on the dust hanging from kitchen light fixture. There was no light over the dining table so had to move a “broken” floor lamp over, 1 piece of which was hanging by a thread yet functional. Downstairs tub drained poorly; stood in ankle deep water to shower. Property management DID send someone over who advised the stopper was broken. Downstairs bathroom toilet would “burp”, turning it into a “bidet” & our Xmas vacation into a European vacation. Neither downstairs bedroom had ceiling fans, yet the upstairs living area had 3 in a row. The bedroom blinds poorly covered windows, pouring sunlight in. Nevermind room darkening curtains; there were none at all! Master bedroom upstairs at least had some! Perhaps biggest complaint was the noise! Most everything else can be fixed but this home simply cannot overcome the sheer volume. Seems like house was built as 1 story & later added on to so it seemed very unsecure. Stairs felt unsupported & were loud & creaky. For 10 people, there were 2 outside garbage cans; unsure if it’s a county regulation but it was inadequate for amount of garbage 10 people produce in a week...nevermind residual Xmas trash. The snow & our families’ time together was the highlight of this trip. Sorry to be so brutal but if someone had been this honest, it would’ve led us to a different chalet.
I missed the clue that the property was skimpy on the details that would make it stay much nicer. This clue was that there would be very limited amounts of soaps, toilet paper and paper towels. “Bring your own.”
As the hours and days unfolded, we found that the outdoor grill was not only charcoal but had probably a 12 x 12 inch grate. The kitchen circuit was so under powered that one could not run a coffee pot, one burner on the stove and a electric grill for pancakes without throwing a breaker.
The owner needs to go through the property and think about what his friends might want if they were to rent the cabin for a couple of days.
Nice place. Would be nice if cabin had some extra towels and kitchen supplies (I.e cleaners, extra trash bags, etc). For 9 people, we found those items to be lacking
It was an amazing stay. One thing that we didn’t like was, online it said their were games and video games. But unfortunately most of them did not function properly. So the kids really didn’t get to play with them
We had just arrived, and were in the process of unloading the vehicles, so doors were open and trunks were open. A bear took it upon himself to GET IN the backseat of my husbands truck, and help himself to leftovers from Cracker Barrell. It was a very scary, yet wonderful sighting. Cabin was fantastic, and we were delighted to have bear sightings every day of out stay.
We had a group of 12 people stay here for an extended weekend. Great place, deck was a great place to hangout and overlook mountains. We were kind of shocked at how many bears we came in contact with and how little warning there was from the property owner about them. Can’t leave any type of food/beverage outside whatsoever. We had left our car unlocked for 5 minutes while unpacking and a bear had opened the door and got stuck in the car. Quite the adventure. Otherwise, was a great place.
