Peaceful with Bears

Wonderful mountain vacation with beautiful nature sounds and seeing the bears roll around in the grass was the highlight. They where very active during are visit. Our condo was nice and cozy with everything we needed.

Quick weekend get away

We really enjoyed this condo! Everything was clean and ready to go. Very comfortable beds and the softest sheets ever! Loved sitting on the balcony and rocking with a book and a cup of coffee. Justin was very quick to answer my questions. We would recommend this place for sure.

This condo was very clean and had great views of foliage. The complex is very quiet and has easy (for Gatlinburg roads) access to the Smoky Mountain park and Gatlinburg. The owner communicated very well and was quick in responding to me. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The unit was nicely furnished with newer furniture and decor.

Where the bears are!

The bears seemed to love this area. We saw a family of them multiple times. This is further up the mountain than we’ve ever stayed before. Things to know: he’s not kidding about that cell service. It is almost non existent. So if you need to contact owner, you will have to drive around or down the mountain to get in contact until you can hook to the Wi-Fi inside the property.

Bears Galore!

Had an excellent time, saw bears daily from the first time we pulled into parking lot! Visited Ober Mountain activities and utilized tram for trips into town. Thanks for a great short weekend!

Comfortable and Clean

Cleanliness is a top priority and this apartment was very clean. Location is in the mountains, so wifi was our only source of calls/service. Furniture was comfortable. They do not provide basic seasonings, so you have to bring/buy all items if you plan to cook.

First time in the TN Mountains

Overall our stay was great, host Justin & Kari was very responsive on questions we had, great home, we appreciate the use of their home. Our biggest struggle we encountered was the lack of cell service that we were not prepared for. Justin did mention intermittent cell service when we booked our stay but we found ourselves a bit challenged using Google Maps to get around due to the service in the area. One needs to exercise caution on the mountain roads, especially at night as this is not for the faint of heart not secure in experiencing steep grades and blind curves. This has no reflection on the host it is more of awareness for future bookings. Be save and be prepared.
