We searched for over 3 months for a cabin that would fit our family of 10, aged from 80-3. And this cabin couldn’t have been a better fit.
The location was perfect to us, away from all the traffic and busyness. It is truly a “cabin”. Not one of your modern day “cabins”. This one has so much history to it.
The bedrooms were very spacious and cozy. The beds and sheets were amazing. Bathrooms were so cute and roomy. Living room was big enough for everyone to sit and kids to run around. Kitchen was amazing to cook in all week and had everything we needed to cook with. The screened in porch was perfect to sit and sip coffee in the morning and listen to the creek and perfect to sit at the end of the day and relax and chat with everyone.
Plenty of walking trails around the place. A big nice fire pit with chairs across the road and a small fire pit in the yard. We saw plenty of wildlife, a bear at the end of the road, bobcats running through the yard, raccoons, squirrels, and the biggest trouts in the creek. We were so happy we booked this cabin instead of the ones sitting right next to each other so we could get the feel of the nature.
We had a water line to break our second day there and the guys down the hill communicated with us every step of the way and even brought us water in a cooler for us. We completely understood things happened and they got it fixed very fast.
There’s some reviews saying the water pressure was bad but I want to say they got that fixed because we all took showers and baths and used appliances at the same time and nothing slowed down. The wifi downstairs is perfect, but upstairs we couldn’t get it (which is fine because we were ready to pass out every night anyways).
This will be our go-to cabin from now on. On the drive home we were looking at dates in 2022 to come back. Cant wait to spend our next vacation to the mountains here.
