We enjoyed our visit to the area very much. We will not stay at this cabin (this resort in particular) again for many reasons. The main problem we had was the beds. They were horrible as many other guests stated in reviews. Hard as a rock. The pull out couch was even worse. They all need to be updated. The other problem we had was we did not realize HOW CLOSE the cabins are together. There is a 10pm noise rule that no one followed while we were there. Our neighbors were a nightmare. Loud and rude. I guess it is hit and miss on who ends up renting cabins around you. Between the beds and the other guests we didn't get much sleep. The smell in the resort was bad on some days also. Sewer smell, like others complained about. However, we followed check in instructions with regards to flushing toilets and had no problems whatsoever inside the cabin. The kitchen cookware and cooking utensils are very outdated also. If you plan on cooking a lot while you are there bring you a few good cook utensils, pot and pan. There are plenty of dishes, coffee cups, glasses, and eating utensils. We had a small refrigerator leak and the owner messaged us back immediately and offered to send someone out. Check in was easy. There was plenty of toilet paper, towels, sheets, pillows, and other necessities. The location is GREAT. You are literally a few miles to everything. Dollywood, Gatlinburg, the dinner shows, shopping. The smell and other guests are at no fault of the owner. It just not was for us.
