"Stunning setting- absolutely gorgeous hotel. BUT- No air conditioning and our room on the 4th floor was very hot. Restaurant is beautiful but dining experience very disappointing- mediocre, overpriced food and terrible service. Dinner a few miles down the road at the campground was better and 1/2 the price. Would stay again, in cooler weather because of the beautiful surroundings but skip eating here."

"Amazing location 3 minute walk to the small community of Gavernie with continuation onto the trail to one of the highest waterfalls in Europe. Free parking pass provided with a short trek from your car to the house. Views from the house to the Cirque de Gavernie are spectacular and the highlight of the stay. Very quiet and lulled to sleep at night by the sound of nearby herds of sheep with their bells. Highly recommend."
