Lovely and accommodating host, she attended to all our needs. A quiet, beautiful and spacious property for the 5 of us. Easy parking and great location for a wedding we attended nearby. I found the extra $100pp to be a bit steep when we added on our 3 extra guests but would definitely stay again. Thanks Joan.

Great place to stay
The hosts were very friendly the rang before arriving to check what time we will be arriving. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile, then shown room which was clean and inviting, comfortable and warm. The breakfast was great, good location, short drive to city centre.

What a great place to stay! We chose La Bella Vita as it was close to A Day on the Green. Joan and Trevor were very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Joan was very accommodating from the time we booked. Her communication was exceptional. The suite is very spacious and the breakfast is a yummy bonus! Beds are comfy, and the pool table was a hit with the kids. Thank you for hosting us!

Beautiful and clean, lovely cooked breakfast each day. The hosts were lovely and great with our little one who is 18 months old. Would highly recommend staying here it’s like home away from home.

THE GOOD: great value for money, cooked breakfast included, quiet location close to Geelong. Netflix, free Wi Fi, free parking, safe, friendly greeting. THE BAD AND THE UGLY:Temperature control/Air-conditioning an issue as guests do not have access to controls, the bedroom was too warm overnight, bad night sleep. Were not provided with the remote for the fan in the lounge room. Were not able to use the bath, no plug and given a lame excuse that someone took the plug and they couldn't get a new one at Bunnings. Lots of limitations and rules, don't eat or drink in rooms. Owners cat and dog have access to common areas,and cooking smells permeate the property- both are issues for people with allergies! Our door was open in the morning, we had locked the night before. We love our privacy and felt like we were being watched. Could hear the owners tv and see them walking around so felt they could see us too!. Weird. Was not clear on website that we would be sharing with the owners. Felt it was all about the ratings, felt pressured to write a review in their book.

An very luxurious Bed & Breakfast! The hosts Joan and Trevor gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. We stayed 2 nights while touring the Great Ocean Road in early Jan 2022. We booked the 3 bedroom suite option. We had a massive lounge room, 3 large bedrooms and bathroom/toilet to ourselves. The B&B is attached to the main dwelling but our privacy was never interrupted. The beds are the comfiest beds we have ever slept in when compared to any other hotel/motel/Air BnB!! The location is very peaceful/quiet while only being a 15min drive from the Geelong waterfront. The large grounds of the property gave our kids more than ample room to run around and entertain themselves. The alfresco dining/entertaining area is massive and has all the basics of a kitchen if you're planning on preparing your own meals. Overall, we highly recommend this B&B. We will be returning here in Winter! Thanks again for your hospitality Joan & Trevor!

Fantastic Place
Hosts Joan and Trevor were very friendly, and accommodating. We loved the alfresco area, Tom the dog, the chickens, and the general property outlook. The beds were very comfortable, and the kids loved the TV.

Absolutely gorgeous accomodation and grounds. Cooked breakfast each morning was amazing. Owners live on site and are very keen to ensure you have a great stay. Specialised mattress and bedding in the main quarters was a wonderful surprise.

The hosts for this property are very friendly and professional. I was a last minute booking staying overnight in Geelong for business and felt that I had a home base for my short stay. Excellent room accommodation and very comfortable bedding choices. As a BnB the breakfast was also great and check in and out very easy. Thanks Joan and family for making my visit so welcoming.

So a homely experience. Second stay and was keen to bring a family member as I knew they'd love the venue and hospitality. Warm greeting (and farewell) on both trips. Room was modern with all the facilities you could hope for. A very comfortable stay. This was one of those rare experiences where you feel you are visiting family, not staying in paid accomm.

We stayed in the studio apartment, it is fully contained everything you need for a overnight or a longer stay. Our guests were very helpful to our needs. Would stay again if the opportunity rise in the future.

We stayed in the budget cabin (no toilet, but located near the toilets). Everything was clean and well-organized. It would have been nice to have access to an adults-only pool.

You stayed at our Bed & Breakfast on 28 December in our self contained apartment (with own bathroom and toilet). This place was amazing! The lovely couple that own it were so friendly and welcoming. Trevor cooked an amazing breakfast for us made with eggs from their own chooks, talk about delicious! They were kid friendly, in fact, the kids didn’t want to leave. They were too busy playing with the pool table, foosball table and the gentlest dog you have ever seen. Tom was so good with them and they loved playing in the massive garden with him. They even enjoyed the free babysitting Joan offers, maybe even more than I did! Joan has the comfiest beds we have ever slept in, and check out came far too quickly, we could have slept all day. This was an amazing place, the only downside was that we only booked for one night. It’s perfect for families, romantic getaways, and small events. I would highly recommend this place and this lovely couple to everyone we met.

What an amazing stay at La Bella Vita. The moment I walked in I felt like I was in my own house. Joan and Trevor were amazing hosts. Breakfast was on time and the quality superb. Every time I go to Geelong will stay there. It’s not far from the city too. If you like animals, you will have a chance to play pooltable with the dog :)
