"Staff more concerned with own cellphones than customers. Food and drinks/cocktails usually good at Vestlia, however this time the food was well below average and the cocktails, 4 out of 4, were terrible. Room missing basics like a way to make coffee and bathrobes which you expect at a «resort». "

"Luxury historical hotel with delicious breakfast buffet in beautiful dining room. Deluxe room with double bed and bunk beds in newly built wing was ideal. Plenty of storage for all the ski clothes, warm, quiet, with private terrace with views. Fantastic location for Slaata ski centre and lifts. "

"Good location in the centre of Geilo. We had a two bed apartment with a lounge area, kitchen and bathroom. Very comfy bed. Downsides, you can't specify where in the block you want to be. Although we booked over 6 months ago, hoping for a view, we found ourselves on the ground floor looking over some sheds/shacks with very little view of the spectacular scenery. Also, obtaining the key relies on a mobile phone with access to the Internet as there is no person at a reception on site to help. "
