"Jason and Mary are extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. The property is easy to find and well located. Off street parking was a bonus. The room was spotless and the bed linen luxurious. I would definitely stay with them again."

"We had a fantastic stay at Salcotes at the end of March this year. With a split group of golfers and non-golfers, we wanted somewhere to relax and enjoy the views of Opossum Bay. Saltcotes is a beautiful house, somewhere you could imagine writing a book or enjoying a family holiday. It's great for entertaining too, with so much space, facilities and a record player with some classic hits to play on it. The garden is huge, and the walk along the beach was delightful. Frances is a superstar; she was there to ensure our food delivery went into the fridge and made sure our stay was perfect. We plan to come back with kids. Highly recommended! "

"Excellent views of the beach and plenty to watch as we slowed our pace for a bit of a relax before we headed home. We booked last minute and felt lucky to get this place. As the seafood festival was on in Hobart for the weekend. Easy bus ride into the city. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Kitchen was well stocked with everything ( except a dishwasher) but that is easily overcome. Mark got in touch to make sure we were settled in I thought that was a nice touch. "

"Location of the property was really nice. It had great views. Was a shame the hot tub was not in use and looked to have been out of action for a while. The pool was also filled with leaves so unsure if the auto cleaner was running correctly. The property could do with some repairs to refresh it, as well as some areas cleaned better such as the freezer as this was very dirty. Overall was a good stay and easy check in process but just needs some TLC. "

"We had a lovely stay , it was comfortable and easy to find , the host communicated very well , we found the key in the lock box and instructions were easy to follow . It was well located and great cafe at the end of the road . It needs more coat hangers , needs hanging space and hooks for towels , the remote controls need new batteries , I would have liked tissues supplied and perhaps a larger variety of tea . If you are a light sleeper I suggest ear plugs , as you can hear everything movement from the accommodation above . "
