"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a great experience staging in a traditional ryokan. "This ryokan was beautiful. We stayed in a refurbished room with a shower and balcony, which was modern and clean, though a bit small for two people and two suitcases. The front staff member was decent with English and everyone was very accommodating. Note that this ryokan accepts luggage forwarding, and parking is ~1000yen per night."

Highly recommend a 2 night stay. Easy train tourney from Osaka."

"Pretty impressed with their thoughtfulness and excellent service! Deposited my luggage with them before check in so I could go sightseeing. When I came back to check in, they told me they had already transported my luggage to my room! In addition, they offered me a hot towel and a choice of free welcome drink (you can choose from beer to soft drink or a snack). The breakfast is wonderful too! Piping hot miso soup based hotpot served with dishes made from local ingredients. Only drawback is it is a 10 min walk from Toyooka JR Station."

"A good spot to stay in Kinosaki. The room itself was pretty outdated with an old tv - I really enjoy when hotel TV's have casting capabilities which this one did not. But the service and meals service was excellent, it's a self-serve buffet style dining which is great if you're a slightly fussy eater like myself. A little disappointed that the room view was blocked by netting for maintenance, which Inwas advised prior to arrival but after booking. I think some form of discount would have been nice for the inconvenience considering I had booked a river view room."
