WARNING Dishonest staff - do not stay here

Charged us for a deluxe room and gave us a room 2/3 the size no curtains, no room safe, noisy and not cleaned properly - still half full drink bottles from previous tenant. Several years ago it was well run, not any more. L

Basic hotel

Room is bright with high ceilings. Our room was on ground level almost next to reception area. We stayed one night only as our hotel closed due to the government lockdown. Bathroom shower was almost right over the toilet. The whole room was wet every time someone showered. Occasionally, we'd smell cigarette smoke possibly from someone smoking near the reception area. Bed sheets were well worn and doesn't seem clean. Saw a couple of long hairs. Ugh.

Wonderful staff, worst WiFi!

The WiFi was really, really terrible! That alone will prevent me from staying here again. Other than that, love the location and the staff were absolutely superb. A huge thank you to them all! Some gardeners were smoking while working, which is not allowed. Why can’t Malaysians follow simply rules? No hope for the country if this carries on.

The room is not in a very good condition. I have booked 2 rooms. 1 room have problem to enter using the keycard. Then later it does not have any power. Need to change room then after change to another room, the room intermittent power "trip". Need to change room again. My room initial seems ok. Then out of sudden, there is water dripping from the toilet ceiling. Need to change room. No fridge and there is not enough space to have a mini table.

The heritage building was in an excellent location - very hip and happening with lots of bars, quaint cafe's and eateries. The venue however was a little run down - not as well maintained as I hoped it would be. My bedroom with fresh linen had traces of hair - of different length on it. The bathroom was clean but the water heater wasn't working so well. As I was on the ground floor, I can hear people moving around above my room.

Old building with new painting and modern toilet. Used common toilet but no issues as they have a few for everybody. Slept well got tv and aircon. Downside, better bring your own drinking water and personal toiletries.

Pas très bien !

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits au Chulia Heritage Hôtel. De l’extérieur, l’hôtel est très beau ainsi que dans le lobby. Mais les chambres sont très moyennes voir pas bien du tout. Première chambre (numéro 120 standard) : très petite qui n’est pas adaptée pour 2 personnes, pommeau de douche juste au dessus des toilettes et sanitaires bouchés... bref une cata ! Le personnel était au courant que les toilettes étaient bouchées mais refile quand même cette chambre aux clients... impossible de nous changer de chambre pour les 2 premières nuits ... Seconde chambre (numéro 106 deluxe) : légèrement plus grande au niveau de la superficie, le pommeau légèrement décalé des toilettes mais le gros problème de cette chambre est l’insonorisation. Elle est située en face des escaliers pour l’étage et le va et viens est très présent et bruyant. De plus, il n’y a aucun rideau pour cacher la lumière du hall d’entrée qui passe par les vitres au dessus de la porte : obligés de dormir avec la lumière toute la nuit ... nous faisons beaucoup d’hôtels de cette catégorie et pour le moment celui ci est le pire. Propreté correcte et personnel souriant ce qui vaut les 2/5. Attention cet hôtel n’est pas du tout un 3 étoiles. On est sur une auberge aménagée en petit hôtel. Par ailleurs, situation optimale

Es un hotel sumamente sencillo, no cuenta con ningún servicio, únicamente las habitaciones. Al parecer tiene poco tiempo de renovado sin embargo es un hotel viejo y por lo tanto no luce tan bien como se aprecia en las fotos, en mi perspectiva luce muy distinto a lo que te presentan. El baño es compartido y un punto negativo de ello es que no están tan limpios como esperaría además de que las regaderas están donde mismo que la taza por lo que siempre está mojada igual que el papel del baño :/ No es tan fácil encontrar el lugar ya que no está justamente sobre la calle y tampoco hay señalamientos, no es visible ya que tienes que accesar por el estacionamiento del mismo y el hotel se encuentra al fondo (en lo personal pase dando vueltas por casi dos horas y nadie sabía informar). Lo recomendaría sólo si tu presupuesto es bajo y no piensas pasar más de una noche ahí

Do not expect car parking even if you book, I advised I require car parking on arrival as I was driving 600KM from Thailand and this was essential to my stay. When I arrived one of the security/ car park attendants / maffia woman told very rudely the car park was full move my car now and I should of got there earlier and “the Malaysians” beat you to it and laughed. I said can I just stay 5 minutes and check in first and leave my bag in the room and she said no go and pay for parking elsewhere! I stay in up to 50 hotels a year and also own a hotel, this was one of the most disgusting receptions I have ever encountered at any hotel anywhere in the world and ended Ed up parking almost 2km away! Room was fine, terrible WiFi speeds however this is common in Malaysia. I stayed 2 times in 3 days as part of a business trip and left my car where I parked on the first night, when I returned 2 days later she laughed at me saying where is your car?
