Great location and a fantastic beach!

If you like a nice private beach with great snorkeling this is it! Plenty of local restaurants close to the area. There’s a great supermarket five minutes away! The rental was wonderful and very roomy with a large screened in porch!Worth the visit

Great condo!

We loved our stay at this wonderful condo. The location was great for us as we had a car and planned to visit beaches around the island. The condo was spacious and a beautiful view from the balcony. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had.

Great place to stay. Our only problem was that we we were very tired and need help with the locked key box. Luckily house cleaning was there and helped. We will be more aware next time.

Large clean condo with private beach

Very happy with the quality and size of the condo. It was clean and well appointed with plenty of space for my family of four. The private beach was a huge plus and made us never want to leave. We saw the resident sea turtles every day and occasionally a sting ray. Only possible downside for some people is that you do have to drive everywhere - the road is very busy and it's not walkable to the grocery store, for example. But if relaxation at a private beach is all you need, as it was for us, then it's perfect!

Spott's Beach never disappoints

Amazing location, my family's favorite beach where you can always see sea turtles. The condo was amazing and very clean and well appointed. Our family would definitely stay there again. The only negative was that guest parking is across the very busy street.

Absolutely fantastic place and location

This place was more than we could have ever imagined. Truly. For a week long family vacation with three little ones, we could “relax” on the wonderful beach and pop up for naps. And the snorkeling out your back door is world class. So many turtles each time out plus coral, stingray and octopi and of course so many fish. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Beach front location at not beach front prices. The apartment was furnished very well and was really spacious. We had the best week there!

Property was exactly as advertised. Property manager was excellent. The owner was also very accommodating and easy to work with. Can’t say enough good things about the property itself and the location. The beach was fantastic, quite private. Snorkelling was great. Centrally located so not far from anywhere on the island.

Spectacular

Just returned from our stay. Family of four (Mom, Dad, Son and Daughter in law). Spotts Beach did not disappoint! Our first day after diving we came back to condo and snorkeled out front. Saw about 6 turtles, squid, nurse shark. Was a fantastic place to snorkel and relax! The concierge' in charge of the VRBO were very quick to respond to any questions, issues we had both before our arrival and during. The place was clean and comfortable. It could use a little TLC on a few things, adult kids felt the mattress in guest room could have been more comfortable. This place really was convenient, not too far from 7 mile beach area and lots of conveniences nearby. Would definitely book this rental again.

Spotts Rocks!

I am hesitant to leave a good review, as I would like to keep Coral Bay Villa a secret. This location just cannot be beat. This is not our first time on Cayman- and given this find, it will not be out last. Steps from an amazing and quiet beach; with arguably the best snorkeling on the island..... at your back doorstep.The porch is spectacular and the unit well-appointed and clean. Beds are comfortable and the added luxuries of beach gear, provided by the host is very appreciated Appropriately advertised as "Hits the Spotts". Thank you - we will be back!

We loved it!

Everything inside and out were just what we wanted. Comfortable furniture, functional facilities, steps from the beach. The one caution to parties needing two bedrooms is that the smaller bedroom faces a busy road, and traffic noise would likely be a negative factor.

The host, Melinda was awesome. Definitely need to have a rental car as its not near any grocery stores. Everything worked great and can see the ocean from the screened in porch. Beach was very private and clean. Read a book every morning on the beach in complete privacy. If you are looking for a pool, its across a busy Street. Totally relaxing spot!

Wonderful

The whole vacation was wonderful! The condo is in a perfect location for being able to access the entire island easily. The beach is 130 steps from the condo's door (I counted!) and is perfect -- the sunrises and sunsets, the moon and stars, the chickens, the view, the warm water, clean sand. The condo was as described, very spacious and comfortable. The equipment to visit other beaches was provided (beach chairs & umbrella, cooler, towels, fins). The screened-in porch was great for meals and for listening to the waves without leaving the unit. The road is very busy so we never even saw the pool but the ocean more than made up for that. My sister-in-law and I enjoyed everything we visited on the island and can't wait to visit again!

Great Condo and Location

Overall, a very nice unit with good amenities. We enjoyed being away from the bustle of 7 mile beach. Spotts beach is a great snorkel location for turtles and rays. Mostly gentle water entry makes it a good choice for younger kids. The unit had great wifi and large tv's with comfortable furniture. Beautiful and large screened in porch too. We originally had the idea of using the complex's pool across the street but that isn't a very practical option as it's a very busy 3 lane street/highway with many construction trucks making it an unsafe crossing. This wasn't an issue for us as we just used the beach which is beautiful. The unit is well insulated so you don't hear road noise inside nor at the beach. Overall a great experience and we'd return!

Great Stay in Spotts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property at Spott's Beach. It was just what we wanted. We often avoid hotels because we don't want to be around a lot of people and this was the quiet vacation we were looking for. The unit is wonderful and quite large. The main bedroom has a dream walk-in closet and a beautiful en-suite bathroom. It was just my wife and I, so we didn't use the other bedroom but there is another full bathroom as well as washing machine and dryer. The main living area with kitchen and dining area as well as living room is very large. We spent a lot of time on the patio which is screened in and has a partial view of the ocean. It's a small condo complex with about thirty units,, so it's very quiet and steps from the beach. Every time we snorkeled off Spott's Beach we saw turtles and we also saw sting rays and plenty of fish. Our host Melinda was very responsive and we appreciated the communications from the owner Kelly too. We certainly recommend this VRBO.

Awesome Stay at Hits the Spotts!

Management company was amazing! Anything we were missing they made sure we had quickly. The photos don't do this place justice. It is so much better in real life! You can see the ocean while you're eating breakfast on the screened in porch. There's a friendly black cat that you can watch in the morning taking a walk through the area. Full screened in porch spanning the front of the living room and master bedroom with a view of the ocean. Four buildings in complex. This condo is in the 2nd row of buildings from the ocean, but you still have a wonderful view of the ocean. Centrally located on Grand Cayman Island for easy access to 7 Mile Beach as well as the East End or to Rum Point. Snorkeling everyday right out front of condo. We saw turtles, squid, sting ray, and a wide variety of tropical fish. Property well maintained including landscaping and cleaning of the beach. There is a nice walkway to the beach that we didn’t notice till the end of our stay if you want to stay off the parking lot. Full size washer and dryer and gigantic kitchen was a bonus. Our group of 4 adults would love to stay here again.

Our Spotts Beach stay

We had a little difficulty checking in due to low batteries in the electronic keypad lock. Deadbolt didn't line up with the door jam. We figured out that you have to jiggle the door when locking to get it to line up and lock. No remotes for the living room ceiling fan and master bedroom ceiling fan. Therefore can't change the speed. Floors and showers needed a good deep cleaning. Lights burnt out in the bathroom. Kitchen items sparsely stocked. No pizza cutter. 3 coffee mugs. For very little money, could be better supplied. Positives; can't beat the location directly on Spotts beach. We really appreciated plenty of paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher soap, detergent, garbage bags, etc. Property Manager Melinda was great, very helpful, and responsive to our needs.

Amazing spacious unit at a great location

We were a family of five that stayed here for 11 nights. We were amazed of how large the unit was and how clean everything was. The unit has two bedrooms and a large sofa that my son slept on without any issues for the length of our stay. The unit has AC that works extremely well all the things you need in the kitchen and is literally steps to the beach where you can snorkel with turtles at your leisure. It also has a large dining table that seats eight so our family could eat together every morning and evening. The Wi-Fi worked extremely well and it has a large TV in the living room. The unit also has a newer model fridge that worked extremely well with a large refrigerator and a large freezer. The unit also had great water pressure and almost unlimited hot water to shower the five of us without running out of hot water. The unit also has a balcony that connects the living room to the master room that overlooks the ocean and is screened in. It also had plenty of high quality beach towels for our entire family with a few to spare. The washer and dryer work extremely well as well. The location was great for our family because we had a car and I would recommend a car if you stay here but everything was within 20 minutes of the location and there is a plaza literally 2 minutes down the road with food at grocery store and anything else you need. The onsite manager was great and very kind and helped us out the few times we needed help but was always just a WhatsApp message away.
