“Eufaula Cottage” Charming Lakefront Cottage

This historical shabby chic cottage was saved from destruction at its original location in downtown Eufaula. It was moved to this beautiful bluff overlooking the lake. Our cottage is perfect for a lake getaway! Take advantage of the large kitchen and exteriorfish cleaning station for cooking your freshly caught fish. The back deck is great for your morning coffee and watching the local Bald Eagles. There is a gas grill located on the deck and a fire pit in the side yard. We hope you feel at home and enjoy all the charms this little cottage has to offer. The cottage sits on almost two acres, so you can bring your boats & RV. Plenty of parking spaces. Pet Friendly. The back portion of property is part of a reserve.
No dock on the property. The closest public boat ramp is River Bluff Recreation Area. It’s located only 3 miles from the house. Cool Branch boatramp is 7 miles south.

*Please note: The path down to the lake is accessible but very steep. There is a beautiful beach at the edge of a lake. Very secluded and serene. It’s worth the walk down. Certain times of the year, the lake water levels rise and the beach may not be accessible. Security cameras on property facing entrance and driveway.

Love the Lake Cottage!
We have a wonderful long weekend. The house is exactly as it looks in the listing. It is a steep walk down to the water. But it is worth it as the little beach is sandy, secluded, and really something special. We brought chairs down and enjoyed the sunsets.

Fishing Weekend
Cottage was nice. Tub/shower a little different. Surrounding location not what I expected. Felt a little unsafe, but it turned out good.

Cute, clean, and quiet lake cottage
This was a relaxing place to stay for 2 nights. We went and saw the Tree That Owns Itself and Providence Canyon during our stay. Eufaula Lake looks like a great fishing lake. If you enjoy fishing, this would be a perfect location. The king bed was comfortable and the kitchen seemed to be well equipped, but we didn't do any cooking during our stay. There is a Keurig and a drip coffee maker that we enjoyed in the morning. The shower was a bit small in the cute clawfoot tub, but worked fine. The sofa was comfy for tv watching. We really enjoyed watching the sun set over the lake from the back porch. Really peaceful and the lightening bugs came out right after sunset. The neighborhood is very quiet. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Eufaula Cottage
Nice property with nice view of the lake. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was great. Bath tub/shower was a little challenging, but worked well and better than some. The lake it self is great for boating and fishing. Not an abundance of things to do outside of hiking, boating and fishing. The town of Eufaula has some shops etc, but not a lot. Very relaxing stay.

Exactly as described. Plenty of room for parking. Our dogs enjoyed running up and down the hill. Enjoyable and a rare gem in this part of Georgia.
