It was a great location and a nice place to come back to after a long day of softball. We had to buy our own salt and pepper, oil, and grill brush. Being on water, the home did have some extra little critters that we had to take care of. I loved the layout of the home and the view.
We stayed at the home during a family wedding and had a wonderful time. Convenient to most areas. Spacious and clean.the neighborhood was quiet, except for the birds singing. The two back decks was plenty of room for our group to spread out. Also 2 kitchens, genius.
This house is a very beautiful property located in the serene hills of Tennessee. Although there are houses extremely close, everyone was nice and said hello and asked us about stay. It was only 8 minutes from the wedding venue. That made it so convenient.
Bathroom mats, chairs on the decks cleaned, ice maker, a few light weight blankets, rug in kitchen in front of sink.

Great Location!
Great location! Nice property. Couple downsides were the beds were really old and uncomfortable. The grill didn’t work and there was only one (1) air mattress and no sheets for it. It also didn’t have any lake stuff (I.e. toys, towels, etc.) be ready to bring your own. The neighbors were super nice too!
Our family had a great stay at the house on the lake. The only downfalls we encountered was the water was to low to put our boats in to the river. Also, the kitchen's were not fully equipped for a family making any meals. We had to go out and purchase a few utensils to cook with. Other then that we had a great stay. I will say we would recommend this home to our friends and family.
We needed extra space to host a family Thanksgiving dinner. My daughter and her family and I spent the night before to set everything up and the rest of the family joined us the next day for food, games, and visiting. The location was lovely, the accommodations wonderful and everyone had a great time.
Perfect house for my husband and me. We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary in beautiful Tennessee! The lake house is located halfway between Nashville and Dollywood/Smokey Mountains. The view of the lake from the house and deck is beautiful! Coming from California, we were surprised at how GREEN Tennessee is in August! And so much water!
We only needed to use the first floor of the house. The floorplan is very convenient. Paul and Shannon were quick to respond to any questions we had or supplies we needed. They made us feel welcome and comfortable.
Tennessee has the nicest people you ever want to meet!
The house was an easy drive to a wedding we were attending at Howe Farms. The house has lots of potential, but unfortunately, it’s dirty. It really seemed as if someone came in and changed sheets and maybe wiped the counters before we arrived, but didn’t actually clean it. There were lots of dead ants along the window sills and cobwebs throughout. The outdoor deck has a gorgeous view, but the chair cushions had mold, cobwebs and bird poop all over them. The table out there was also very dirty. I was very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness.
Property was just what we wanted, as proximity was close to a wedding in the neighborhood. Even though it was just 2 of us, the house can easily accommodate more as it has 3 rooms with ensuite bathrooms. View and access to lake were great.
Pots/pans could use some tightening on the handles and downstairs master bathroom flush lever was broken, but we had 4 toilets to pick from...so no issues there. Bring cooking oil if you plan to cook, as only basic amenities in kitchen are provided.
Would stay here again and would recommend this place.

Ants/ could be cleaner
Nice place, good location but, needs thorough cleaning. Ants really like it. Steps on the deck of the lower level should be replaced. Windows are very dirty.
Will use this property again. Perfect for two families looking to vacation in the are together with upstairs/downstairs kitchens. Easy 40 min drive to Chattanooga. Great neighborhood. Beautiful views out the back. No frills. Bring slippers, all floors are tile. This was less expensive alternative to staying downtown Chattanooga where we would need two hotel rooms. Excellent for temporary business trip to Chattanooga, Fishermen looking for a property to keep there boat in the water on a trip, or family just passing through.
Minor inconveniences… Beautiful views are hard to enjoy from inside due to windows and blinds needing cleaning. HVAC intakes and vents were dusty. Rest of property was immaculate. Internet dropped each day for a few hours, we did see numerous trucks working in the neighborhood. The house is dated, and decor is minimal but no biggie as you are there for the outdoors/buisness.
We enjoyed our short stay! Plenty of room to spread out… and surprise… 2 kitchens! Gorgeous views from the two back decks and easy walk to the covered dock and water!
